Sailing into Chesapeake bay on the evening, 4th of July 2018 was magic. Firework displays were to be seen at multiple locations across the horizon from our balcony. My husband chose this cruise to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We splurged and booked a junior suite (7656) because I had always wanted an aft balcony.

Always dreamed of going to New England... Loved all the ports... Boston was a bit hectic but ok. We loved all the others. Five ports total. Lots to see and a relaxing boat to go back to.

The positives abound: Great to leave out of Baltimore and have a "Goldilocks" cruise experience - Everything was "just right" - not too long/short at sea, in port, excursion times, bar prices, the lot. All the staff WITHOUT EXCEPTION were friendly and supportive. Amazingly, even the kids cruising were all well-behaved. Will not be our last cruise with this line.
