Junior Suite on fantail for evening, 4th of July

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

Sailing into Chesapeake bay on the evening, 4th of July 2018 was magic. Firework displays were to be seen at multiple locations across the horizon from our balcony. The darkness on the water enhanced the romantic visual experience. This was a five day cruise to Bermuda from Baltimore on The Grandeur of the Seas. The limestone fort at Kings Warrf and turquoise waters of Bermuda are amazing. ...

Very enjoyable. Service was exception. Every aspect was the highest in quality. Dinner service allowing “my time” dinning was an exceptional feature on Royal Caribbean’part. Our waiter Yogesh, was exceptional an “over the top” in the service he provided. He went beyond what would be expected in addressing our concerns. Food quality was exceptionsl. If an item was not on the menu, the ...

20th Anniversary to Bermuda

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

My husband chose this cruise to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We splurged and booked a junior suite (7656) because I had always wanted an aft balcony. Getting the Port of Baltimore was an easy 15 minute drive (we used Uber) and both embarkation and debarkation were a breeze! The Grandeur is an older ship, however the entertainment and activities staff provided a lot for everyone to ...

CRUISIN' WITH MY BFF AND HER FAMILY

This cruise was given to me as a promotion from a casino in Atlantic City so I can't comment on the cost (I only had to paid fees and tips). However, I can comment on everything else. Starting at the very beginning... Pulling up to the Port of Baltimore, you do a drive-by luggage drop-off. It's so convenient. They take everything from your car that you want to appear infront of your cabin door ...

The dining experience was out of this world! Our whole family was treated extremely well. The service and food.....5 stars!! Desmond and Robert were excellent servers. They always had a smile on their face and they hustled to make sure everything was going smoothly. The activities were fun to watch and the entertainment was phenomenal! They always seemed to have something for everyone to ...

Chose the cruise because it was close to home. Everything from boarding to debarkation was well planned and went smoothly. Appreciated their focus and sanitation. Excellent accommodations, great food and entertainment. Staff was always polite and professional. There were a variety of excursions to choose from. Staterooms were clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the ports of call and time cruising. We ...

We were very interested in the itinerary of this sailing and it didn’t disappoint. We had a grande two bedroom suite which was very nice. The concierge, Francs, was wonderful to us. The ship is older, with some rust here and there, but the ports of call and fantastic staff make up for it. Ports of call included Boston, Portland, Bar Harbor, St. John, New Brunswick and Halifax, Nova Scotia. We ...

Always dreamed of going to New England... Loved all the ports... Boston was a bit hectic but ok. We loved all the others. Five ports total. Lots to see and a relaxing boat to go back to. The service was beyond excellent. The dinning room staff was unbelievable! So much fun and laughter all through dinner. "Happy People" was our greeting and theme. Everything was perfect. The atmosphere of ...

Love the Grandeur and this itinerary. The crew is the friendliest and most amazing group of people. They all do everything they can to make sure that the guests are happy. The guests all seem like they are having a great time. The pianist in the Schooner bar was great. Rookie did a wonderful performance. Even the new cruisers were having a great time. They tried to do some awesome activities and ...

Quite the grand-eur experience

The positives abound: Great to leave out of Baltimore and have a "Goldilocks" cruise experience - Everything was "just right" - not too long/short at sea, in port, excursion times, bar prices, the lot. All the staff WITHOUT EXCEPTION were friendly and supportive. Amazingly, even the kids cruising were all well-behaved. Will not be our last cruise with this line. Casino notes: Low-limit ...
