We chose it for the itinerary. We have done over 30 cruises but only two with Royal Caribbean in 1999 and 2001 which were excellent. Unfortunately this ship was very disappointing. We had just stepped on board in Fremantle and were bombarded by people trying to sell the different restaurants drink packages etc - they were really overpowering. Seeing Australia and New Zealand has always been on our bucket list and this cruise seemed perfect. We have been on Radiance two other times so we knew the ship quite well so it was like coming back to an old friend. our experience of Radiance of the seas is very disappointed and upset .
food was not good at all in either cascades main dining room or the buffet windjammer.
the choice of food was awful putting mostly the same variety of food on all the time on alternate days .

We chose this cruise because we were told seeing the NZ fiords by ship was an experience not to be missed and they weren't wrong. Truly wonderful and do it if you can. Absolutely breathtaking and better than those in Norway. Wonderful outdoor weather helped of course. We r two Australians in our mid 60s. We chose this cruise almost exclusively because of the itinerary. This was our 18th cruise, but only our second on RCL. Our first RCL cruise was in 2005. We hadn't been back to RCL since then because of a disappointing dining experience. Our 2005 evaluation was confirmed on this cruise.
