Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Norwegian Star

Have done over thirty cruises with Carnival, Holland, Princess, and Royal Caribbean, while this was the tenth cruise with Norwegian. We had the opportunity to book a suite for the first time which was a definite upgrade from the normal balcony. The suite was magnificent and the balcony was large enough for two chairs, a table, and lounger. The service could not have been any better from ...

We had never visited most of the Islands on this Cruise and specially wanted to visit Aruba & Curaçao. We loved each port and all of our excursions! The ship was just coming from a remodel and was beautifuly redone. It felt like we were traveling on a brand new ship clean & bright. We never traveled on the Star before but, we have been on the Dawn and we loved the improvements. Everything ...

We choose this 11 day Southern Caribbean cruise because we were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. We don't make a tom of money and felt the value of a cruise, this cruise was a great use of our vacation dollars. Our room steward Ven was amazing. His timing was perfect. Never did we return to our room and have it not ready to receive us. We didn't eat at the buffet much, rather we ate at ...

Great First Cruise Experience

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Norwegian Star

Not knowing what to expect, we had a great time. The embarkation was quite delayed for the first cruise in the US after retrofit, which shouldn't happen again, but once boarded everything was great. Perfect size for first cruise with plenty to see and do, If you are looking for a wow dining experience you won't get that but you will be more than satisfied with the food offerings and the ...

We love the islands, weather and NCL. It was our 30th wedding anniversary and we have taken previous cruises on our 20th and 25th anniversary. We have never been disappointed. The on board staff are amazing people an a credit to NCL. The food, entertainment, bars, restaurants all exceeded our expectations again. The overall value is good and I highly recommend the owners suites. They are spacious ...

Best Cruise Ever

Our bid an upgrade to a suite was accepted an although we were located directly above the Spinaker lounge it was the best cruise ever. Freddy our steward and Ferdinand our Butler were both Cruise Heros. They both are worthy of more responsibility as they could write the book on Exceptional Service. The Breakfast and Lunch facilities for suites guests is over the top. The food and service in ...

If I had it to do all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. The dining rooms and the ability to go at your convenience was great, and the food at Aqua, Versailles, O'Sheehan's Bar & Grill, and others was delicious. Our special evening at the La Cucina was over the top...from the calamari and soup, to the jumbo prawns, and the service and wine were the best! Our daily poolside fun on Deck 12 ...

Service in the restaurants was sometimes very slow and disorganized but overall the food was excellent, the staff helpful and friendly. Disembarking was terrible but not NCL’s fault, blame it on US immigration officials. Our steward was very good and always fast and attentive. Ship could do with updating but it is going into dry dock soon. The cabin was comfortable with adequate storage. Our ...

So enjoyed this trip from LA to Miami! We tried the upgrade bid process with NCL and successfully upgraded from balcony to mini suite for a reasonable rate and found great value. We had dining package and complimentary latitudes rewards dining so experienced excellent meals and service at Cagney's, Le Bistro, and La Cucina as well as breakfast, lunch and diiners in Aqua, Market Cafe, and ...

This was our fourth cruise with Norwegian and like the other three we thoroughly enjoyed it. We arrived in San Pedro a couple of days before the cruise and stayed at the Crown Plaza Hotel. We had a very pleasant stay, helpful staff, a nice swimming pool area, good restaurants nearby and it's within walking distance of the cruise terminals, although we made use of the Crown Plaza free shuttle bus ...
