We recently cruised for 11 days to 6 different islands in the Southern Carribean on the Norwegian Pearl. Everything from beginning to end was absolutely wonderful! It was a repositioning cruise starting in Tampa, FL and ending in NYC! We went to the Cayman Islands, Aruba, Bonaire, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, St. Thomas and NYC. We took port exercusions to all these beautiful islands, each being a little ...
This was my 4th year in a row sailing aboard this ship for a themed cruise run by Norwegians company sixthman. TERRIBLE IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT FOR THIS YEAR! The staff was rude and careless!
Sewage issues on decks 4 and 10... lets start there. Plastic bags being suspended from the ceilings filled with human waste!!! Pool towels on the floor to capture any spillage. As if that wasn’t bad enough ...
We took this cruise over the Christmas holidays since it sailed into the panama canal along with three other ports. The food was above average in all the restaurants we dined in. The entertainment was above average compared to other cruise lines. Our room was great along with the butler and room steward. they only staff member who was lacking was the concierge and the main issue with that was she ...
Week after Thanksgiving - few kids and they were well behaved (but some parents were not). Mostly middle-aged and seniors. Lots of canes, walkers and scooters. However, late night bars and lounges were active.
Pier side before departure was chaos. Port services, taxis, porters, etc. doing their best but chaos caused by confused arriving and leaving passengers; e.g. do not try to get in a ...
This was a last minute cruise a cheap 4 nighter. The boarding was a mess with lots of people not given a boarding number, then the staff did not have any idea who to allow on first people to the left or right. We have sailed on many NCL ships and never seen this before crazy.
Once onboard the cabins where ready very soon and the food was hot and ready.
The main dinning rooms where pretty ...
We truly enjoyed our 10 day Caribbean cruise on the Norwegian Pearl from April 6 to April 16 2015. The cruise was 10 days of amazing relaxation, beautiful sights, and awesome delights. We felt very pampered aboard the Pearl, with a wonderful, caring staff, perfect weather, and the beautiful islands we visited, the trip was magical. I tell you honestly,
The WHOLE staff made us really feel ...
This was our first experience with Norwegian and although not disappointing it was definitely at the bottom end of our cruising experiences. Previous reviewers had it right about this cruise line.... they try hard but just can't get it quite right.
Embarkation
Very smooth...the process was quick and painless. There were no delays getting on the ship and we actually got into our cabin ...
We were first time cruisers... Me, my husband, our 11 year old daughter, and my almost 70 year old mother. Had connecting mini-suites (11588 & 11590). These rooms were wonderful, convenient to the buffet, splash academy and the pool deck. They also have covered balconies, which we liked so we could be shaded from the hot sun. They are under the teen Entourage area, which could sound like a ...
This is a review of a Norwegian Pearl Southern Caribbean cruise that my wife and I took on 3/26/15. This was an 11-night cruise from Miami, with stops in Aruba, Curacao, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, and St. Thomas, and 5 days at sea.
This was our second NCL cruise together — our last one was a Boston to Bermuda cruise on the Norwegian Dream in 2008, which was just okay. This one was much ...
We just got back from our 11 night cruise aboard the Norwegian Pearl to the Southern Caribbean. We chose this trip due to the itinerary and also to celebrate 2 milestone birthdays. Hopefully my review will cover most aspects of our trip.
Embarkation -
I am a little disappointed in the way NCL does their embarkation in Miami. We had a suite, and suite gets are supposed to get VIP check-in ...
