I love trying new ships in the first year and had a ball on the Escape so I thought I would give it a try. This was a girls trip for 3 -50 year olds that have this same experience every other year.
Embarkation was the best I've ever experienced. They use the pictures from passports and the info you supply at online check in so it's just a matter of swiping passports, completing the health ...
We were on the Dec 8-15, 2018 Bliss Sailing from Miami for an Eastern Caribbean Cruise, it was myself & my adult son. For both of us, this was only our 2nd cruise ever, the first being on the Disney Dream in Dec 2015. The Dream was a great cruise, the the Bliss was OVER the top !!! LOVED it !!!!
To start off with, we were in Stateroom 8134, which was a mini suite with Large balcony. We LOVED ...
I chose this cruise because it was a new ship and to see it's bells and whistle's.
check in went well except the people I was traveling with had to check in at one terminal and me at another so that was odd. my cabin was nice #12300, though not thoroughly cleaned. in several spots I could see that something had spilled or splattered and was never wiped off the cupboard/closet doors. My room ...
Due to medical needs, we were allowed to have priority boarding. While embarking on the ship, we noticed people literally running by us. Two quite large young woman literally pushed me out of their way (I wear an ankle brace due to recent bone graft surgery). Then we saw another couple sprinting up the gangway. We had wanted to buy passes for Vibe Beach Club and once we got to the area and ...
This is where you missed the mark:
- Both shows in the theatre were way too loud...even with ear plugs on...just horribly loud, not to mention when there is music in the Q (right below the theatre), you can feel and hear this music along with the loud music of the show (this happened during both of our shows). During dinner at the Q, the music there is so loud, you can't hear your dining ...
I have to admit I was very nervous before we travelled as the reviews were very mixed, actually more leaning towards negative. Being in the Haven made the experience smooth sailing from beginning to end. If you are booking the haven one tip is the balconies on the 17th floor are quite a bit larger than the ones on the 18th. A word of warning, I’m not sure who the designer was, the windows in the ...
We chose this shop because we were looking for a brand new ship. The ship is nice but lacked good customer service. We booked a spa balcony room, the room is smaller than we anticipated and the spa seems to be way over crowded. They apparently sell day passes to guest, and that made the spa far from tranquil. There was very few shows only two during the entire cruise, in addition the nightlife ...
I wanted to see the new ship. It is not a ship for smokers, there is 1 area that is "free" to smoke. H2O had the smallest smoking area that I've seen on any NCL ship, it was crowded not comfortable and partially covered so if it rained you would likely get wet. You could not use the Cigar Room, and casino for smokers you had to play to smoke. The ship and entertainment was wonderful as well as ...
Went on NCL Bliss for the excitement of a better ship with go-karts vs the NCL Epic and Escape. The Jersey Boys production was outstanding. The Havana show was good but not my type of show that I would want to pay for. The Observation Lounge/deck15 was the best part of the ship. What I was disappointed in were all the chairs and lounges in the Observation Lounge and Atrium. They were all very ...
For a ship this new I expected more. Have cruised many times and was not expecting what we encountered. We purchased internet for both of us and it was non exsistant the service. Went to the Internet cafe 2 times (2 1/2 hours) the guy was worthless. He said they were having problems with getting people online and the app was not working. Order chocolate covered strawberries for second cruise day ...
