We always wanted to see Alaska, and the Joy was the ship that we booked on. The ship is very large, and has a huge pool deck area. It also had two huge water slides that hung over the side rails. I chose NCL Joy for all the perks. The ship is beautiful. Excellent service. Housekeeping service is excellent. Overall the ship was kept very clean. My balcony cabin 14888 was average size for cabin, It did have plenty of storage space. Food was good. We ate in Manhattan which food was very good but very busy. Alaska is one of the prettiest places I have ever cruised but not the best cruise. The cabin was great. Had an ocean view room, saw the interior rooms and had friends with a balcony. Another awesome cruise on NCL. The Bliss is a little over a year old. The staff is amazing and so friendly. Special thanks to our steward Hendra. He is a gem! There is no shortage of things to do.
