Excursions Cancelled
"We had excursions planned at all three ports, Icy Strait Point, Juneau and Ketchikan.Accommodations on the ship were great, however, with the only trip to Alaska I'll most likely take in my lifetime, I would have liked to have been given the option to reschedule our trip as we were unable to enjoy any excursions we had planned months in advance...."Read More

Amazing trip to Alaska and Canada

I'm writing this review as a first time cruiser in hopes it will help the next person. There was 8 of us in our group and we had 4 balcony club suite rooms. The ship is amazing and so is the entire staff! They do a tremendous job of helping and we felt the ship was immaculate! When we left the port of Seattle, the weather was rainy and foggy so we didn't get to see much nor did we the next day. ...

Overall very disappointing (inconsistent communication and overpriced are major issues)

This was a 7 day Alaska cruise (Port: Seattle - Juneau - Skagway - Glacier bay - Ketchigan - Victoria, BC - Seattle). AVOID THIS CRUISE COMPANY IF YOU CAN. We went with my friend and her family, and none of us really enjoyed this experience. I have been on to cruise ships for 3-4 times, and this is definitely the worst experience and is definitely not worth the price you are paying for. ...

This was my 12th cruise. I've cruised on all the mainstream lines and returned to NCL for the third time. Our party consisted of three adult women and teen girls in 2 rooms. Alaska was on my bucket list and after being cancelled twice, it was so exciting to finally embark. The pre-cruise preparation was a bit tedious, but my group stayed on top of everything and didn't encounter any hiccups ...

Checking off the bucket list, a cruise to Alaska! First time cruiser, whuch means when something went wrong we usually disnt know until it was too late. Starting with the good. Every stop in Alaska was amazing! The people in town are so friendly and do not treat you like a tourist. Whales and Trails in Juneau was fanatastic and the Wildlife Refuge from Skagway to Haines was interesting even ...

ENCORE HAVEN

The perks of the Haven are really nice. But for my wife and I the Haven was not worth the price. We were looking for a true first class experience to Alaska and we didn't get it. That is because there are no rules in the Haven. You can wear whatever you want in the Haven anywhere and anytime. The cabins and staff in the Haven are truly outstanding. I got to know most of the staff ...

We decided to go to Alaska for our 25th anniversary. After our first cruise to Italy got canceled, we figured staying stateside was a safer bet. We've never been on Norwegian before, nor a ship this humongous! Embarkation was not so smooth. We planned to bring a couple of bottles of wine having previously read that there is only a corkage fee if you plan to imbibe it in the dining room. This was ...

Loved this trip. Ship was only 60% full. Never felt crowded. Views from observation lounge were stunning. Only complaint was the short times in Ketchikan and Victoria. Staff were very polite and our room steward was terrific. Go karts lots of fun. Choir of Man was great. Lots of good choices. Loved Cagneys. Onda was hood not great. Observation Lounge at breakfast was terrific. Loved the tea ...

This was our fourth cruise our first on Norwegian. I will start with the positive. The staff was very friendly and the ship was very clean and modern. The activity directors were friendly and very high energy, always trying to get everyone involved. Now for the bad. The entertainment was B rated at best. The smaller bar acts were better than their musical and magic show. Their food ...

My wife and I finally decided to cruise to celebrate our Golden wedding anniversary. We saved up for a year and decided an an Alaskan cruise. Embarkation was a shocker as for the crowds. We paid for priority, but that didn't seem to make a difference. It did though go pretty well and we were on board in 50 minutes. The cruise was wonderful with a friendly attentive staff that was always ...

After postponing this cruise 4 times we finally set sail on May 8, 2022. I believe this cruise was only half full. Even with that the embarkation process seemed a bit disjointed. We had to present COVID Vac cards , passports, arrive Canada documentation and test results which we did before traveling to Seattle. Once aboard the ship we made it to our mid balcony club accommodations. The room was a ...
