Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

We wanted this itinerary for its stops in South and Central America and that was the right thing for us to do, as we've been to the Caribbean so many time. Roatan was a highlight as was Costa Rica, but the Panama Canal is a LONG and mostly boring way to get to the Pacific Ocean. We did by Excursion and glad we did, once you have gone on a canal cruise in Europe, it's the same experience and not ...

Chose this cruise for the itinerary. Sailed from New York (actually Port Liberty, NJ) to Galveston, TX via Bermuda, Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Progreso. Initially, we were worried about sailing on the Vision since it was a smaller, older ship but we were pleasantly surprised in the really great condition it was in for it's age. None of the bells and whistles ...

It's a smallish ship - better for a short trip

I can't resist a good deal on a cruise and since we thought the Allure of the Seas was a bit too large I thought that a 14 day repositioning cruise on the Vision would be a great choice. And overall, it was a very good cruise- the ship is older but in good condition and as always the RCI crew were wonderful. There were a lot of upper tier RCI cruisers ( i.e. pinnacle ) and this was the first ...

Love the Vision class and this ship did not change our opinion. Size is perfect for what we prefer in a ship. We did find some of the staff to be disconnected, mainly in the Diamond Lounge, R Bar and Windjammer. Very short staffed in Diamond lounge; the few waiters would totally avoind the back side of Some Enchanted Evening Lounge, with the exception of Laura who ran rings around the ...

Enjoyed the ship. Easy to navigate, not too large. About 1,900 passengers. Entertainment was very good. Cruise director Steve and his assistant Talita were excellent! Staff was very courteous. Captain was about the ship a lot and kept guests informed on PA system of what was happening with weather, delays, announcements and so forth. Interacted with guests, performed at a couple of shows and ...

Beautiful ship, however, way too big.

Chose it because we wanted to try the Quantum size ship. It was very beautiful and high tech but we feel for all the passengers, there were not near enough elevators to accommodate all the people. Always waiting for elevators and walking long distances to get from one place to another. Did not mind the rotating dining rooms, however, did not like the choice of the Silk dining room 4 nights out ...

We are Diamond Plus at 536 cruises. Embarkation & disembarkation went smoothly. Our second time on Anthem, We chose this cruise because it leaves from Bayonne,NJ. , thus no need to fly cuts down on added expense. We were in a Grand Suite-12646. It was very well appointed. Location on ship could not have been better. We ate quite often in Coastal Kitchen, the dining room designated for ...

Chose this cruise as friends of ours had booked and we needed a cruise! We have cruised 20+ times including 6 times on RCCL One of which was on Quantum of the Seas. The ship itself is attractive and never felt crowded. Never had to search for lounge chair or wait for anything. We booked all of our dining and shows prior to boarding and linked with our friends with no issue. We arrived at the ...
