Chose this cruise as friends of ours had booked and we needed a cruise!
We have cruised 20+ times including 6 times on RCCL One of which was on Quantum of the Seas. The ship itself is attractive and never felt crowded. Never had to search for lounge chair or wait for anything. We booked all of our dining and shows prior to boarding and linked with our friends with no issue. We arrived at the terminal and boarded the ship by 11:20 AM. Went for some lunch in he Windjammer and then went to cabin shortly after 1PM to find our luggage waiting for us.
Balcony cabin was spacious with plenty of storage, comfortable bedding, nice bathroom.
Nice layout, plenty of storage, places to plug in devices. Room AC worked well.
Cabin steward was attentive and pleasant. Had a lot of cabins to take care of and did excellent job. Gilbert was his name.
Bathroom small but functional. Nice shower, plenty of hot water.
Only negative about room was the squeaking and popping noises that came from the balcony door frame. It was constant the entire cruise. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. It was not even rough seas. It drove us crazy. Pops and squeaks all the cruise.
Beach was clean and noticed defiante improvements.
Nothing but port shopping.
Don't leave compound unless you want to be mobbed.
Prices way too high.
Took van to 7 Mile beach for $6 pp
Nice beach, good operator named Eric and his wife.
Another shopping port. However a lot more local flavor.
Walk around town.
Arrived at designated time. Luggage handled and we checked right away and by 11:20 were on our way onto ship.
