Chose this cruise for the itinerary as places we hadn't been before . Have cruised with other companies , Royal Caribbean, Celebrity , P & O previously. Lovely start to the holiday with 3 days in lake Garda prior to picking up the ship in Venice. Boarding at Venice a nightmare took over 2 1/2 hours all down to only having 3 security scanners working for over 3200 people , come on MSC sort ...

First Time Cruiser

For some background, my dad took me (19 years old) and my brother (27 years old) on our first cruise. Since this was my brother and I’s first cruise our expectations were not high. We saw a lot of bad reviews before coming but we decided to give the cruise line a shot. All of the ports on this cruise were gorgeous and we had a good time other than the ship being delayed causing us to get off early ...

The destinations in the cruise were great, beautiful towns all. The staff very friendly. Overall experience mediocre food not great,MSC nickels and dimes their customers . No one seems to be in charge and know one ever knows what’s going on. They do not enforce non smoking in cabins and balconies, I was inhaling second hand smoke entire trip, I ended up getting sick from smoke inhalation. I ...

I do not want to give 3 stars, but 2 stars wouldn’t be fair, because there are some hard-working crew members onboard who did their best to make guests feel special. Let me begin with this disclaimer: I am an American and this was my first experience with a European cruise line. My expectations of a cruise clearly do not align with the European way, so this cruise might have been fantastic for ...

I travelled with daughter, son in law and granddaughter and flew from Dublin to Venice. A private transfer from the airport to the ship had been arranged by our travel agent. Embarkation went very smoothly and quickly, helped by the fact I had requested assistance due to mobility problems. We had two adjoining cabins on deck 9 with the Fantastica Package. The cabins were very spacious with ...

We chose back to back Mediterranean cruises because of ports called at! Never dreamt we would do 2 cruises and have same theatre shows and eat same menu food on each cruise on 2 different ships (Musica and Orchestra). Very poor on MSC part! Paying for water in dining room is a joke and 3.15 euros per 1 litre bottle is ridiculous! Dining room meals were very average and not up to standard ...

We picked 2 MSC back to back cruises as the itinieries suited our first trip to the Greece/Italy. To begin with we were very happy with our booking but at about 4 weeks before the trip I realised they'd changed one of our cabins without telling us, we'd originally booked 12months out so we could have aft balconies, despite contacting the Australian office repeatedly and them trying hard to ...

6-10 Cruises

This cruise was my 10th cruise and the 2nd with MSC, so I thought I knew what to expect and, most of all, I expected relax and entertainment, having already visited the majority of ports of call. Unfortunately this cruise did not live up to my expectations in several ways as the ship was always too crowded and loud so relax was not possible. THE GOOD: - elegant mid-sized ship - staterooms are ...
