We chose the cruise for the itinerary and the price. Itinerary was great, and we had many wonderful experiences and memories from the various ports. Especially loved Kator, Montenegro and Corfu.

The ship, however, was full to overcrowded, and there were long lines for food at the buffet almost always. The layout of the buffet areas was horrible, and contributed to the long lines for food. Should have served more on deck and in other locations as found on other cruise ships in order to avoid everyone crowding in the same place at the same times. The food itself was marginal, uninteresting, and almost never hot or fresh on the buffet. Food in the dining rooms was also lacking in variety and often served barely warm.

Most of the staff were friendly and very accommodating. We had the Aurea experience, which was well worth the upgrade for the drinks, shakes, ice cream, etc. which were all included.

The cabin was roomy and comfortable and very clean.

Port Reviews

Brindisi

Surprised by what there was to see in Brindisi, but not a very interesting choice of port.

Katakolon (Olympia)

Olympia was great, shopping was mediocore. Took us to a tourist shop for olive oil and such with very high prices. Then taken for a very short time to shop in Olympia, not enough time to really do much. would rather have had more time shopping in Olympia or in Katakolon.

Santorini

We got our own way to Oia and really enjoyed exploring the old town on our own. Beautiful location and port, and lover the fact that we were the only ship in Santorini that day.

Athens (Piraeus)

could have provided more information about getting to and from Athens on our own. Had been in Athens 2 years ago for extended time, so just enjoyed going back to some of our favorite places and exploring on our own.

Corfu

Loved Corfu and the beautiful old town in credible views.

Kotor

Probably our favorite port. Beautiful old town area and views. The passage both in and our of Kator is breathtaking.
