We took a western Caribbean cruise on the Equinox in April and had a very enjoyable cruise.
Embarkation
Embarkation was easy and we were on quickly. We ignored the suggested embarkation times in Celebrity’s email. Getting a glass of bubbly when you get on is great. The terminal area was crowded with five large ships turning around that day.

Celebrity customer service needs retraining. Four to 5 different answers when calling. We lost 50% of our vacation time and the “Executive Customer Service Team” first said they wanted to make things right, but instead of giving a any refund or credit, basically said piss if we have your money too bad, as long as people keep paying us we don’t care.

First and foremost, it was a good cruise. I'm a firm believer in a cruise being what you make of it.
Embarkation was incredibly smooth. I don't think we've made it through check-in and onto the ship as quickly on any other cruise as we did this one.

We sailed out of Miami on Saturday, April 6th. This was our 17th cruise. What is normally a short wait to board the ship, we waited in line for an hour and a half until we finally were able to board. We have had such incredibly positive experiences on the Celebrity Equinox cabin 8204, that, not only do we have no intention of venturing away from Celebrity's fleet, we cannot justify abandoning the Equinox. We arrived a day before the cruise to explore the Design District in Miami and enjoy an excellent meal at Coconuts in Fort Lauderdale.
With the proper use of luggage tags, which are obtained by mail in advance of the cruise, embarkation was a smooth and simple process. Debarkation was quite straight-forward as well.
