We have had such incredibly positive experiences on the Celebrity Equinox cabin 8204, that, not only do we have no intention of venturing away from Celebrity's fleet, we cannot justify abandoning the Equinox. We have had the stars in our eyes snuffed out by more than one cruise, but each time we return to the Equinox, they are burning bright again. Every member of the staff is not only a pleasure to deal with, but they all seem to sincerely like one another, which makes the experience that much more pleasant. the meals offered in the regular dining area are exceptional. Though we did give the Tuscan Grille a try one night (outstanding!), we did not feel that they specialty restaurants were the only place to get quality food, like it felt on other ships. I was a little disappointed in the changes they made with regard to the glass blowing. Whereas before it was simply displays of professionals performing magic with the glass and pigments, it has turned into a kindergarten project where people can make their own ashtrays or whatever for a fee. I am sure that was due to customer requests, but I was mesmerized by the group from Corning's talent last trip.
Though the ship is coming up on a refurbishing in a few weeks, the cabin was still top notch.
Comfortable day that had our luggage dealt with and kept us from unnecessary hours in the airport
Gave such a great feel for the small town atmosphere of Key West.
Very busy port with 4 other ships docked and one of the longest docks I have ever walked.
Stayed on the island all day for first time and explored local shops.
Excellent shopping and our dip into the Carriban.
