Overall we were very happy with our cruise aboard the Equinox. I'll start with the positives and end with the negatives, there were only a few. The staff in the dining room were amazing. Our Sommelier was so friendly and funny and he made sure we all had a great time in the dining room. For the most part, the food in the main dining room was excellent, pro tip: if you can, let the waiter tell you what to order. Those were always the best meals we had.
Our cabin steward was top notch, always asking us what else he could do to help. Our room was attended to twice daily which was nice and our room was almost always made up when we returned from breakfast. Kudos!
The ship is beginning to show it's age, but it's hardly a criticism as I know she is due for a major overhaul in a few weeks so I did my best to overlook that.
Cabin was great, as mentioned above the ship was awaiting refurbishment so we overlooked the age. There was an issue with the sink plug not working, we phoned maintenance and no one ever showed up to fix it. The carpets were not vacuumed upon arrival but were vacuumed the next morning. Probably because embarkation day is a bit of a hustle.
