Disappointed in Disney

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Disney Wonder

Being a Florida resident and nearly close to 100 trips to the Disney World Parks throughout my lifetime, I was truly elated to bring my family on the Disney Wonder for a true family vacation. Surprisingly, I was terribly disappointed in the level of service that I have seen from this Disney experience. Living in South Florida my family cruises often, so we know what to expect, but this level ...

Worst design of a large ship And worst cruise line

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

Crowded, noisy, poor service, mediocre food, even in specialty restaurants. Lobby impossible to navigate or be heard. Library next to rock music. Art gallery and casinos in middle of only pass-through decks. Short staffed. This and the Breakaway are disasters. Expect the Escape is the same. Opt for the Jewel class ships. Happier crew and passengers. Service charge is MANDATORY so staff is ...

Let me start by saying that a more appropriate name for this ship should be NCL - No Customer Loyalty, or Service for that matter. I hate to be a negative nelly, and you may look at my review and think "wow, she's really upset" and move on, but I truly hope you read this, because I was just like you, searching for reviews, and trying to book a great vacation for me and my 4 kids on their spring ...

Spring Break Cruise; Disaster

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Escape

Where do I begin........I have been on a number of Cruises, with different cruise lines including the Epic with Norwegian. There were 16 in our party ranging from 79 down to 4 years old. The Cabins, we had Mini suite with Balcony and balcony rooms. The only difference being the size of the bathrooms - otherwise very little space in the Mini suites. The rooms creaked near with sliding windows ...

Horrible Experience

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Norwegian Sky

My husband, my two kids, and I took this cruise because it was advertised as a family friendly vacation. Much to my dismay, when we arrived at the ship, it was overrun with college students. Apparently, this cruise was advertised to them as the "College Party Cruise (CPC)". They received "CPC" t-shirts when they boarded the ship, and some of the activities on the daily planner even said "CPC ...

I just returned this evening from a 4 night cruise out of Miami to several stops in the Bahamas. This was my first cruise and I read a TON of reviews and prepared for the exciting get away. Note - I did go on this cruise over spring break, fully understanding there would be college spring breakers on board. What I was NOT informed of was that this cruise was actually marketed as a "College ...

Great Islands, Terrible Cruise

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Norwegian Sky

Visiting the Bahamas was a pleasure and I will certainly go again, but there's literally no chance we'll ever cruise with Norwegian again. We didn't pay the inflated Norwegian excursion prices and instead worked directly with locals. For Nassau we visited the Atlantis water park and picked up a taxi across the bridge both ways for local transport, paying $4/person each way. Atlantis water ...

Never Again

When I called to schedule my cruise I explained to them exactly what my family was looking for in a cruise. I explained that this was our families 1st cruise and the only place we wanted to go was the Bahamas, and the other islands would just be a bonus. I was asked if there was anything we were celebrating and I said why yes, ”it’s mine and my husband’s 15 year anniversary, and I just graduated ...

NCL - Getaway Embarkment: terrible number system in place. people cutting the lines no one stopping them. took 2 hrs to get on ship. Cabin: cabin Stewart never came to introduce himself. after the second had to track him down for towels. Never vacuum, never wipe counters down, never clean shower wall stains from prior guests. garbage pails were not emptied out daily. Last day of cruise he ...
