HORRIBLE Service aboard Sunshine Vessel

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

We choose this cruise because some dear friends of ours were renewing their vows for their 25th anniversary. This was the worse Carnival experience ever! The shower curtain was too short and water flooded the bathroom floor every time we showered. Consequently, we had to request extra towels to place on the floor to absorb the water. We pre-ordered a case of water and did not receive it until ...

Checking in was fast and easy, ship was really clean. Cabin was clean, all of the attendants were super nice and friendly...except on jerk who started putting away the food at 2:45 in the windjammer while I was trying to get something from the serving tray. Foo dwas excellent! Entertainment and activities such as games shows, comedian was great, Spectras Cabaret was awesome, best show I've seen by ...

The price was high since we went during the summer due to Birthday and wedding anniversary. We stayed in an inside cabin on the 9th deck Cabin number 9701. First the good. Embarking and disembarking went as smoothly as any ship we have ever been on! The cabin was small but we liked the vertical TV that showed what was happening outside almost like a balcony. We knew the ship was large, ...

The food was excellent. A+ for the Chef and waiters. The dining and the 14, succulent food. Our waiters, Mr. Ruel, and Mr. Louis, assistant waitron the dining on the fourth floor on the Anthem of the Seas. The best! Everyone was friendly, ready to please the guests. The boarding was fast and easy. My friends and I live in Brooklyn, Bayonne was fast and easy for us. We didn't have to fly which ...

This is a beautiful new ship. Spotless. We love cruising out of the New York area, saves two travel dates to Florida. Embarkation was great, get an appointment as early as possible to minimize traffic to the port. We were lucky to have a Bon Jovi tribute band on board, "Wanted", who performed 3 Bon Jovi concerts for us! This was great, the best entertainment we have experienced. The 3 ...

Don't go on the 9 night cruise if you are in your 20's

I chose this cruise because it was touted as being exciting for young adults. Unfortunately, this is not the case. This cruise is great for young families and old people. If you are in your late teens or in your 20's, you will be bored stiff at night. I took my 2 sons, who are young adults. Every night, they went out hoping to find some cool clubs onboard the ship, but instead, we ran into ...

Disappointed with some shows

We had a wonderful time on the Anthem. My cabin was very roomy with was wonderful. The ship was always clean. The shows do not have a lot of diversity with the dancers and definitely not the lead singers. The shore excursions are to high and especially if you have a large family. Embarkation and disembarkation was wonderful and EASY. I was disappointed when I would order the same drink from ...

We chose this cruise for 2 primary reasons.....we didn't need to fly to get on the boat (cost savings and convenience) and it fit our schedules perfectly. The experience began in the Bayonne Cruise Terminal for embarkation. We were scheduled for 11am and arrived at 10:45. Amazingly....and to our utter but pleasant surprise we were on the boat by 11:05. Clearly the best embarkation of any cruise we ...

Have been on 3 Royal cruise had a great time on all. This time there was 22 of us for a 50th wedding anniversary. There was something for everyone to do. Like the rolling skating, I fly, north start was awesome. Michale's was enjoyable to relax have a drink and the music was good. Loved the shows. I have to say loved the Windjammer, such a large selection of food. You never went hungry and ...

This was our 3rd time on this cruise to Bermuda. Service & food were excellent. The only drawback was that pretty much the whole island shut down for 2 of the 3 days we were there (Aug 3 & 4) for their national holiday. The ship is showing its age somewhat but the it is very clean. The entertainment was fantastic. We booked an Aqua Class cabin and although we really appreciated the Blu ...
