Sailing was December 9, 2017 with a new itinerary for NCL Escape due to the hurricanes a couple of months ago. Staterooms were 9136, 9140, 9144 and 9429 for a family of 15 traveling together. Ages 15 months to 61 years of age. Embarkation was very easy with transfers from the Miami Airport. Using this service makes the luggage a non-issue. Luggage showed up shortly after rooms were ready which ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Liberty

We are mid-60s, active travelers. We have cruised only twice before - once on Norwegian and once on Windstar. We have loved cruising and wanted to try something shorter and cheaper for a quick trip. We decided to try Carnival out of Port Canaveral for a convenient December break. It was definitely a mixed bag for us. We wouldn't do Carnival again, but that's just because it didn't suit our ...

Review for a Cuba Cruise on Norwegian Sky

Chose because of the Cuba itinerary, overnight in Havana and a good promotion. The ship was very clean with constant cleaning going on everywhere. The ship is a good size, you could always find somewhere to sit to relax, read, play cards. Entertainment was as expected but the karaoke was an unexpected surprise...a couple of the performers were amazing. Activities seem to be geared for late ...

Amazing trip to Cuba

Our experience on the Sky to Cuba was great. After reading reviews for the past 6 months, we boarded the ship with very low expectations, knowing that we were going primarily because of the overnight in Havana. We were very pleasantly surprised! We found the ship to be clean & in good shape for an older ship, the food was above average & the staff were very friendly & accommodating. This was ...

Small older ship with an amazing itinerary

Review for a Cuba Cruise on Norwegian Sky

We choose this itinerary so that we could see Cuba. The cost is higher than other cruises, but you need to consider this includes your alcohol and soda for free. This ship is small but in good condition with really friendly employees. Disembarkation in Cuba took almost 2 1/2 hours. A lot of tours were missed or rescheduled due to the untimely exit. We were told it was because there was a ...

A Great Crossing on a Great Ship

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Marina

My sister had taken a similar repositioning cruise a year ago (Lisbon to Rio) and said it was the best (out of 50 or so cruises), the food, the service, etc. We found the food exceptional, to the point that the diet began half way through the cruise, due to our weak will power in the early half. We did cheat occasionally on the crossing portion. The added-on amenities re gratuities, land-based ...

4th time on Pride from Baltimore MD in winter, still love it, by 2nd day sun was warm. Had a French Door inside cabin, great rate, cabin well kept, room steward attentive, I went to the beach at Cocoa Beach, FL, Junkanoo at Nassau, Tania Beach Freeport. Weather was warm, not hot but for December I was grateful. The Bahamas are happy to see tourists, especially at Freeport. Pride needs to ...

Fun First Time Experience

First Time Cruiser • Age 70s

As first time cruisers we partially knew what to expect because of relatives experiences and advise. Embarkation went very smooth and we got on the ship without delay. Just seeing the size of the Liberty for the first time was impressive. Our first day was spent exploring the ship and finding out where everything we were interested in was located. Hint; If you want to get a lot of walking ...

Outstanding Oceania's Marina

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Marina

I love the Marina due to its comfort level in all aspects--stateroom, dining venues, crew and staff. I was on the inaugural sailing, and the Marina remains the same outstanding ship. I have done multiple transatlantics, but knowing this ship and very much needing a nice relaxing trip, I chose the Marina. You cannot beat the crew and staff. They are there for every part of your ...

Spain, Canaries and Transatlantic Cruise

Spain and Transatlantic on Oceania Marina We are a couple in our mid 50s and mid 60s, who were looking forward to trying something new after many years of cruising with Celebrity. We were looking for higher quality food and service than Celebrity now offers, but also good entertainment, and some “new to us” ports, and this cruise with its Spain and Canary Island itinerary, plus a relaxing few ...
