Worst cruise my husband and I ever took.
FACT:
1) Spent more time at sea than the itinerary stated.
2) Took over 3 hours to get into our room due to the key card and room door being inoperable.
3) The room was really small, not what was shown in the picture on the website and set up with two twin beds instead of a queen.
3a) The bathroom was small. I’m 5’7 and 185. As I stood ...
This was a family cruise for my mother's birthday. She chose Celebrity because of the age range of the clientele. Of course, when you want to leave from Vancouver, that limits your choices even more. Background, my husband and I have sailed on both the Summit and the Constellation (sisters to the Infinity) and we love the layout and size of this ship. Most especially the Oceanview Bar at the aft ...
Second time cruising on HAL in Alaska (previously the Zaandam same itinerary). Booked a week out with "they pick your inside cabin" rate. Got 6022 which is forward inside and aligned parallel to the hallway. Solo traveler just over 65, and fairly active. I chose HAL because they stop in Glacier Bay and Haines on this itinerary. I remember they had an excellent Room Service policy, should I need ...
First time cruising with Celebrity and whilst we enjoyed the cruise, it could have been so much better but was let down by important items.
First of all, the pros :
Easy embarkation at Vancouver. Excellent entertainment, nice balcony cabin, very good room attendant, good drinks package, excellent bar staff at Martini bar, very smooth sailing, great access to view Hubbard glacier.
Met ...
We chose this cruise because wanted a smaller ship and a round-trip itinerary. I had been concerned about choosing Canada Place and the Nieuw Amsterdam based on reviews but these concerns were quickly proven wrong.
We entered the Canada Place parking garage at 10:30 and checked our bags. Check-in was very efficient and we were boarding by 11:15! We went to the Lido for a glass of iced tea and ...
New ship just a sparkly token to get your money! The overall experience was really not good at all. The trip itself, to Alaska was one of The most beautiful sites I’ve ever seen in my life and the balcony is the only way to go, however we went to Alaska for eight days and that was about $6700 for three people for the cruise and that was with one “FREE” well it wasn’t “FREE” it was almost 800 for ...
Hi,
This was my 4th Alaskan cruise. As always Alaska is one of the most beautiful destinations I have ever visited I strongly encourage everyone to visit this awesome landscape.
So with that being said,The Bliss is a new and Beautiful ship. The service was good. It was very easy to embark and disembark at every port.
Unfortunately, the ship is very crowded. It is very difficult to get ...
Wanted 2 of our grandchildren to have the Alaskan adventure. Chose the NCL -Bliss, because of the activities & new. Before I get into the negative, I would like to say it was a beautiful ship, food was very good, & staff was pleasant. I would also like to mention my husband & I have cruised a lot, (over 40 cruises, different cruise lines). We are Latitude Members (Silver) with NCL. (World ...
Every need and wish was met on this cruise. The entertainment and production crew were first rate. Our stateroom steward was friendly, helpful and cleaned the room twice a day. The excursions booked through Princess cruise were better executed than those booked locally and in most cases cheaper. This cruise was taken to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary in which Princess went beyond my ...
The first time I sailed with princess was from Vancouver. And I had best time . So I decided to sail with princess cruise again, this time I didn’t not enjoying . Our cabin is so dirty. The washroom curtain has horrible smell.and the towelette has dirty stains. And the smell of the washroom made me vomit couple times. Finally we tell our room servicemen to change our curtain . Then the food . Same ...
