We chose this cruise unknowning and inexperienced. From the initial stage to the return home the complete package was exceptional, with caring staff always on hand, to the vast food options and great entertainment. We will be going again SOON. Enjoyed the dinning and self service meals as well as the evenings out. Great to see everyone making a dress code effort. The vastness of this ship soon is ...

First time cruisers. We normally travel then have a week or to chill on a beach, by a pool so this was quite the exception for us. We can’t compare this cruise to any others, just review it on its merits, and the people we met along the way. The Norwegian Fjords were beautiful and this is what lead to booking of this cruise. Last minute decision so we were left with an inside cabin. ...

P&O Britannia Norwegian Fjords cruise June 2017 - distinctly average

P&O Britannia Norwegian Fjords cruise June 2017 - distinctly average. It was our first time on Brittania, having previously been with on Ocean Village (twice) and Island Escape and Crown Princess. We travelled as a couple with no kids. The general cruise was nice, but we left feeling a little deflated, all in all the overall experience was distinctly average. The ship itself is large and ...

Our First but not Last Cruise to Norway

Review for a Norwegian Fjords Cruise on Britannia

So many cruise ships so many destinations but our first try at cruising was a great experience. We chose the Norwegian Fijords and we weren't disappointed. The transition from car to ship was seamless, well done Southampton and once onboard we weren't disappointed. Granted being our first cruise we have nothing to compare it to but I can only give our opinion of this holiday. Britannia is an ...

This was my first cruise holiday and I have to say, overall, I was quite impressed with the experience. I travelled with my family to the Norwegian fjords, setting sail from Southampton, stopping off at Stavanger, Olden, Alesund and Bergen before returning. We chose P&O mainly due to the reputation, however, as we did some more research, we noticed a lot of mixed reviews, especially regarding ...

We chose this cruise because we wanted to see the Norwegien Fjords. Could not fault Britannia in any was the service and quality of food was second to none. there is always something to do and the evening entertainment was brilliant. As this our first cruise we did not know what to expect, we were told by other friends and family that once you have done your first cruise you will be looking for ...

Hi everyone, my husband and I thought we would take the time to write a review as we don't like complaining about our holidays, especially our cruises, as we normally really enjoy them, however, on this instance, I have to say, if you are a 1st time cruiser please be aware! I read with interest the reviews of P&O and I've always been intrigued by some of the comments by people I personally ...

As this was our 1st cruise played safe choose one week on P and O Britannia to Norway. 2 weeks before departure offered upgrade from balcony to suite at very good discount. The cruise was outstanding in all respects from our luxury accommodation with butler to the dining in style. Food and Service excellent. Evening shows were enjoyed and the nightclub. One highlight was a group singing from Les ...

Was a bit worried by other reviews - shouldn't have been!!

This was our first time on Britannia and reading the previous reviews I was a bit worried as the "Butlins at Sea" experience is not for me. However, with one or two cheesy exceptions (the sail away parties waving Union Jacks are a bit much) - it was fine. Embarkation was easy (although busy) and getting on board was fine. Luggage was all waiting in our cabin which was a good start as I like to ...
