We had been on this same cruise route before but w a different ship. This cruise w the Carnival Miracle just felt way too crowded compared to the two other cruises that we have had. The layout and the flow of people was way too congested especially around the Buffett and the pool area & to see any shows you had to get there at least 30 min early.
When we started out from Tampa to Cayman ...
Let me preface this review by disclosing that my wife and I are Platinum Level with Princess so that is our comparison.
Although we were only Ruby level, the boarding process was quick and easy we arrived for our appointment right on time and were on board by 12:00 pm. We had a suite so we had early access to our cabin. The Lido deck was packed and so was the buffet so we grabbed a burger ate ...
Vilburn the casino host was so nice... attentive to all game play
Great personality and Kim the casino bar server was the most attentive ever... knew when and what time to switch my drinks up and always brought me water... the whole casino bar staff was great... I smoke and it was a little smoky for those who don't smoke...
MDR food was very good...
Nick and Nora's steakhouse was 5 ...
We were offered this cruise last minute because the Vista our of Galveston was canceled. We were offered cruise credit because of the cancellation, so we got a pretty good deal on our first cruise. The boarding process was really simple and we received our checked luggage in a timely manner. If I had it to do over again, I would not hang out on the Lido deck upon arriving like they suggested we do ...
I've cruised with Carnival before, we liked the itinerary, and the price was reasonable. The food was excellent and the wait staff and cruise director were great. Also, we really enjoyed the ship's entertainment. The spa and the showers in the locker room were very nice. The ship itself is pretty warn out. Our stateroom was not clean upon arrival (we found clothing tags, contact lenses, hair ...
We honestly chose this cruise because we booked too late to get the ships and price we wanted out of Port Canaveral. I was very hesitant to book and worried because of the size of the ship. Most reviews were good, but I was concerned it would be too old and small compared to what we were used to (Magic and Dream). We LOVED this ship! There were 6 of us. 4 adults and 2 17 year olds. The embarkation ...
We chose the Carnival Miracle simply because it fit our schedule, driving distance and the price was very good. The only down side was a great majority of the staff seemed disconnected. She's a great ship. I never felt crowded or rushed. The dining room food quality is down from our last cruise only 6 months ago but it was still very good. I only ate the buffet once for lunch. The comedy ...
We had a great time on the Miracle. The embarkation and disembarkation was easy and quick. The ship is in good shape but is ready for Dry dock. The only negative was ship vibrations and toilet water at times was messed up. Our room steward was outstanding as were our wait staff in the dinning room. The 2.0 upgrades should make this ship one of the best. We did get some art and the staff was very ...
Where do I start? Cruise Director Frankie was awesome. He is high energy and seemed to be everywhere. Giving tips, seeing cruisers off for their excursions, welcoming them back, MC-ing just about everything and providing updates though out the day.
Look, this cruise was by far the best cruise my 10 y.o. daughter and I have been on. I could write a book on how well run this ship and crew ...
We had an absolutely wonderful time on the Miracle.
We purchased Faster to the Fun for the first time, and it was completely worth it. The priority embarkation and debarkation, the dedicated guest services line, and the priority tender were worth every penny.
Embarkation was very easy and quick. We did get immediate access to our rooms around 12:30, but our luggage wasn't expedited. I'm ...
