We chose this cruise/ line based on the itinerary. We booked Aqua Class but didn’t really use anything but Blu. We ate in here every night and were able to choose the Blu menu or Main Dining Room menu. We enjoyed the smaller, quieter space. Food was good, but not sure it was any better than the NCL cruises we’ve been on in the past. The crew was phenomenal- super patient and friendly. I observed ...
We (wife and I, and another couple – call us “late 50’s”) chose this cruise as we wanted to experience a European cruise after doing several Caribbean cruises. This was our 3rd cruise on Celebrity. The Venice-Rome, and Dalmatian Coast was highly appealing to us as we have read so much about these areas. Port stops were Rijeka, Split, and Dubrovnik (Croatia); Kotor, Montenegro; Valleta, Malta; ...
Constellation is an older ship and needs it's planned upgrade next year. having said that it is well maintained, very clean and has a good happy crew
The layout does need re modeling but the larger lounges and cafe are good points over Solstice class ships but the lack of alternative dining options and under used areas are worse.
We were not happy at all with luggage arrangements at Venice ...
I had been looking for an Adriatic cruise that went to almost all the ports for 2 years and finally found it on Infinity. Having cruised on Celebrity 16 times in the past, I was looking forward to our Voyage. For the most part I was extremely satisfied but little things dampened my experience. The ports all exceeded my expectations. In Koper, we took the HOHO bus to Piran. It was excellent. There ...
We sailed around the Adriatic on Celebrity Infinity. We embarked in Venice and probably the biggest disappointment of the whole holiday was that the ship’s departure was delayed by several hours so that the sail away from Venice was in darkness. We had really been looking forward to a spectacular start to the cruise so were bitterly disappointed.
From then on, the cruise fully lived up to our ...
We booked this cruise some 10 months before departure and was a little apprehensive reading some of the reports as to the ship being tired and old.
We did not find this, yes in places, you had to look, for slight rust on windows, small rubs on furniture, but overall we were more than satisfied.
We flew to Venice to embark and took the Venicelink private shuttle to the port, this we found ...
We had been watching the last-minute deals for European cruises over the past few months, and when it transpired that none of our three young-adult offspring could join us on vacation, my husband and I made the decision to go on this 7 day Adriatic cruise out of Venice, even though it was at the peak of the insane tourist season in Europe--the deal we got was just too good to pass up!
Having ...
Don't listen to the negative reviews, complaining about the ship's age and the staff. After a week on the Celebrity Infinity, I'm convinced those reviews were left by picky and miserable people. Yes, the ship is definitely old, but it's very clean and well-maintained. And I can't even begin to tell you how incredibly the staff was. We've previously sailed with Princess (just okay) and NCL ...
This is my 7th cruise, 4th with celebrity, 1st on the infinity. We choose this cruise based on the itinerary and we truly loved all the ports.
The ship had an overnight in Venice then set sail the next day. I actually liked this because it gave us an opportunity to explore Venice at night and have an incredible dinner in Venice. I also didn’t feel rushed.
Our other ports were Split ...
We hadn't planned to book Aqua Class but ended up doing so, made little use of spa but cabin was very nice well looked after by Lester. Restaurant was main benefit and it was excellent, food very good and portions small enough to eat three courses. Front of restaurant team were outstanding and Frederick serving a delight. Somellier Enrique a star and chose great wines for us. Ports / excursions ...
