Exceeded Expectations

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Summit

We just completed (Feb 2024) a five day cruise on Celebrity Summit, from Miami, with port calls in Nassau and Cozumel. I was very excited when we booked the cruise last September, but became apprehensive after reading some of the reviews on cruise critic. However, I am happy to report that we truly enjoyed our five days on the Summit. From the moment we stepped on the ship, to the moment we left ...

Nice ship.

Smallest ship we’ve been on but it surpassed our expectations. Felt modern, clean and was actually really nice and we had a great 5 days. The food was fantastic, in the dining room and the buffet. The pool area was nice besides the usual annoying people who ‘reserve’ their sunbed and use them for half an hour the whole day!!! The staff do nothing. Our cabin was interior and very big. Really ...

Superb Cruise Yet Again

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

This was our 6th cruise with Celebrity. We are in our eighties and have cruised 19 times. This was a cruise to the Dutch Islands of the Caribbean. As usual we made use of an outstanding cruise consultant with Expedia Cruises. All the necessary information is on the Celebrity web site. The Celebrity App is really needed to avoid confusion. However, in our case, going cruising is ...

We booked this cruise when we were on the Apex cruising Ireland and Iceland in 2022. We wanted to experience an E-class ship on a warm weather itinerary. Just my husband and I looking for a warm getaway from a winter in the Northeast. Of course, the last 2-3 winters have been pretty mild. We got a great deal on an Aqua Sky Suite with $1500 on board credit and used the last of our pandemic future ...

Superb Cruise on a Stunning Ship

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Ascent

Loved the cruise and the crew, all very top notch. The Infinite Veranda stateroom was quite spacious (for a cruise ship), with great storage and even a spacious bathroom. While we ate at 3 of the “upgrade” restaurants, there really is no need for these, as the standard restaurants are quite beautiful, and the food is great. La Voyage was our least favorite, as it’s an internal restaurant with ...

Fantastic Cruise!

After a cruise a few months ago on the Sky Princess, which I did not like at all, I wasn't sure what I was going to think about the Ascent. I had taken a many years long break from cruising, and I found the food and entertainment on Princess lacking. However, my experience on the Ascent was totally different, and while I was on board I even booked two more Celebrity cruises. First of all, the ...

Stunning Ship But....

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Ascent

After being on the Apex twice last year, we were excited to try a shiny new E class ship. The Ascent is beautiful with gorgeous spaces all over the ship. This is the first cruise where we, as a young at heart late 60/early 70's couple felt old LOL. Celebrity is clearly drawing a younger demographic, which is great, but having later shows, later deck parties, later silent discos excludes ...

Great cruise with a few little bumps

I cruised with three friends - without our husbands. We have sailed together several times and with others still more times. Getting on and off the ship was easy. Our concierge lunch was great. We ate most dinners in the main dining room and the service was terrific. The food there was okay but not outstanding. We ate one evening at Le Petite Chef, at the recommendation of the assistant ...

The Murano Restaurant The Maitre D - Aurelian for the restaurant not only visited with me personally, the entire crew has made my visit so special I have returned twice. My Chef de Rang Yessica is the best. The Chef Sebastian is awesome. He came to my table. The Sea Bass and the lobster was amazing. The sommelier Ivana was exceptional at pairing wine and very pleasant to work with. The ...
