Carnival Transatlantic Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Just completed our sailing on the Vista TransAtlantic cruise. I would like to start by saying we had a terrific time. This cruise was absolutely fabulous and special and It had everything to do with the crew and the reason we return to Carnival cruise after cruise. From the Captain and all his officers brilliant handling of the ship during difficult weather while we headed to the Azores to the ...

Carnival Vista Transatlantic October 2016 We are experienced cruisers but have never actually done a Transatlantic cruise before… the price for this one was most definitely right! So, we booked it…. Cloud 9 Spa Balcony, deck 12 front. Very lucky to get the Cloud 9 Spa cabin for the price we got it, it comes with its own amenities such as robes, toiletries and slippers plus the all important ...

On our 30th cruise, but the first time with Carnival, and I was a bit apprehensive. Lets start with the negatives, this ship is never going to win a beauty pageant, she is ugly. The Atrium is like a Holiday Inn lounge, really bright and very unwelcoming and the cabins, which are large and well appointed but soundproofing is terrible, the cove balcony's had major problems when the storm doors were ...

Not a big fan of Carnival but was blown away with this recent Transatlantic : Barcelona to NY cruise on Carnival Vista. Been on 108 cruises and lately very disappointed with the poorer production and entertainment evening shows. Not this one! Production shows were fabulous and other entertainment was very good. Excellent water park; all crew extremely friendly; even with 4000 passengers and ...

We choose these cruises for the itinerary : Mediterranean and Transatlantic. Overall we thought it was terrific. The ship was beautiful, great expansion of outdoor sitting areas, more subdued, classy decorating and fabulous staff. The live music entertainment was very enjoyable from shows to groups playing around the ship. Our cabin staff and dining room staff were great. I was concerned about ...

We just returned from a back to back cruise. the Carnival Vista is a very beautiful ship. They are still trying to work out some quirks. Our Cabin was beautiful and our cabin steward was excellent and helped with any needs we had. The dining service took some getting used to. Carnival has changed some things up. No more table cloths. Not as much doting, smaller wait staff, and not as much ...

The ship from a handicapped point of view

On board I discovered the cabin next to us paid $700 less than we did (they booked around a year or so ago). When I told friends we met on board, I discovered they paid $800 less than us. They booked around 2 or 3 months prior to sailing. Both, like us, were on 3 b-to-backs and this was the transatlantic crossing portion. We were ending 15 mths of travel worldwide. We booked a while ago, ...

We flew to Barcelona, Spain on October 30th, 2013 and spent an enjoyable days in Barcelona before getting on the newly refurbished "Carnival Sunshine." The Carnival Sunshine is the newest ship in Carnival’s fleet. They are considering it a “new” ship as it just went through a $155 million dollar facelift! This is the Carnival Destiny, that was built in 1996, that went to dry dock for two months ...

I really meant to get this review done much sooner, then I kind of forgot about it, and then I saw all the negative reviews of the Transatlantic cruise and, I must say, I am shocked--it hardly seems like these people were on the same ship I was on. So here goes: Embarkation--things went very smoothly. The only disappointment I had was with the FTTF program not quite working out. I think there was ...

Amazing Trans-Atlantic Voyage from Dover, England, UK to New York City, U.S.

Wow, what an experience! We left Dover, England on September 24, 2013 and arrived in New York City on October 10, 2013. If you hate flying like we do, you should consider a Trans-Atlantic re-positioning cruise as an alternative. We visited Dover, Dublin, Glasgow, Belfast, Reykjavik, Qaqortoq, and St. John's. Plus, the best part, was a deviation in our route encouraged by the Cruise Director, John ...
