Carnival Cruise Reviews for Romantic to Canada & New England

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

8 day out of Norfolk Va. parked car with asphalt lots ( park air) in Chesapeake. Brad was very easy to engage for info. Vans started running early and took traffic headache away. Terminal easy and friendly folks to get onboard , maybe 25 min with a 1135 boarding time. Food. Nothing special. Outback better than steakhouse the one night we went. Guys burgers good and busy. Guys bbq- expected much ...

Not up to past cruises

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Carnival Legend

The Legend is an older, smaller ship. Carnival has made many changes since the pandemic, some of which are not good. Paid for FTTF ($129). Received no benefit. Had to check in on line which gave us a 2PM boarding time. Instead of priority boarding which is part of FTTF, we were boarded with regular passengers. Our room was cleaned but not set up for 3 guests. The dedicated phone line, again part ...

Destination and ease of driving to port had us pick carnival, legend out of Baltimore to Greenland. Well first off no Greenland due to hurricanes. But we were so impressed again and again with the quality of the entertainment. Singers and dancers shows were great. Choreographed and costumed and talented. Special talent from Broadway stars to singing maitre de to crew talent show were amazing. ...

I booked this cruise 4 days prior to sailing because of a good deal. I have been on 40+CCL cruises&surprisingly never been on on a Spirit class ship. It exceeded my expectations jn many ways. The food was better than my recent CCl cruises, perhaps because this was a 14 day Journey cruise. In the bars the musical entertainment was very good. The itinerary was ...

Carnival is there to take your money but not there to stand by their service. The boat was in poor condition like our phone didn’t work and the shower door didn’t close. They won’t refund money easily but take it fast. Also people with disabilities have a rude awakening. I can’t even get ahold of them to ask for a refund .Lesson learn I have a list of things go wrong. Couldn’t go to dining room ...

Overdue Girl's Cruise

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Magic

Carnival Magic 9-18-21 5 Day Bahamas Cruise. I was really excited to be able to cruise again after everything being shut down for 18 months. My friend and I take a "girl's cruise" every year and of course missed last year. We signed up for the 9-18-21 5 day Bahamas cruise. We felt like Carnival did a bait and switch because after booking, they changed all of the mask and testing mandates. ...

Anniversary Cruise

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

We chose this cruise to celebrate our 50th Anniversary because of the dates and itinerary. We were not disappointed with the New England-Canada itinerary but Fall colors have not arrived yet! We were, however, disappointed in several areas. 1) Check-in took much too long. Even though we were repeatedly asked to choose a port arrival time, airlines arrive about the same time in NYC. ...

Too Many Inconveniences

The embarkation was a nightmare. Not sure what caused the delays and the backup, but there were not enough Carnival agents on duty to help expedite the check-in process. We booked this cruise to see the New England fall colors and visit Halifax, NS. The late itinerary changed caused us to cancel part of our private tour in Halifax, and plans in the other ports. Why shorten the time we had in ...

My only complaint is they turned the 4th floor theater into a Nightclub after the show and we could hear pounding music until 2 AM, hard to sleep through. I complained and Carnival moved us to the 8th floor, very much appreciated. I feel for the 100 or so cabins on 6 that had to put up with that noise. The food options are excellent, especially Guys burgers and the Mongolian Grill. I loved ...

New Engladn/Canada Cruise out of NYC

We always wanted to see the change of leaves in the North East, so we choose this cruise as a way to get us 'up there' in October. While the weather didn't cooperate (unseasonably warm) the cruise was good fun. Ship is smaller than what we've experienced in past but not overly so. Ship sponsored excursions didn't appeal, so we only did one (Portland, ME). In all other ports we did out own thing, ...
