Carnival Mexican Riviera Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Not at all as advertised

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Carnival Miracle

This was supposed to be a "special sailabration cruise" Nothing special about it! They take your money and make changes at the last minute blaming covid. You never knew you were on a sailabration cruise until the very last day. Lido deck was very boring. No entertainment except a DJ. playing music a few hours everyday. 5 very boring days at sea. Entertainment at the phantom theater was like ...

we’ll where do I even start from the beginning they held us ip at the gate right away when we arrived because we took the covid test one day earlier which is stupid because unvaccinated people only have to have the test two days before and not three like vaccinated people so that was the first hassle THEN we get on the boat and the buffet is trash food no flavor all cold and the meats were cold as ...

No enforcement of CDC mask protocols

I am shocked to see many people without masks or masks well below their noses in public areas walking around. They walk right by staff and no one says anything to them. The buffet servers even serve maskless people food. If you care at all about Covid 19 this is not the ship for you. I spoke with managers in Lido Deck dining area and pool areas. They say they can not do anything about ...

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Panorama

I thought this would be a nice cruise considering the ship was new and I really enjoyed my last Mexican Riviera Cruise on Royal Caribbean. ( Yes it was a long time ago) The ship is new and this was it's second voyage and that's where the fun ends. Honestly the best part of this cruise was going ashore at the 3 stops. The problem started right from the beginning, 4 room keys were left at ...

Worst. Carnival. Experience. Ever.

We chose this cruise because we cruise with carnival in the past and really enjoyed the experience we’ve had. We knew that this was going to be the inaugural cruise for the panorama and we’re super excited to get on board with a balcony room. Our experience all started off with our luggage being delivered and having a Broken shoulder strap caused by the luggage delivery service that carnival ...

Just fly instead

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Carnival Miracle

We wanted to do something special for birthdays in the family, two of them in December during the cruise. We headed to Hawaii but might as well have flown. 4 sea days there and back were horrible. The second we stepped on deck, we smelled cigarette smoke, as smoking is permitted on Deck 2, indoors. There is really no way around it if you want to go to the casino, trivia events, or get on or off ...

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Splendor

As an experienced travel agent I had not sailed with Carnival since 1989. We decided to try again, much to our dismay. There was nothing except the steak house to commend this cruise. The dining service was in some cases energetic but without adequate training poorly provided. The food was of poor quality. The music sources all had bass turned up so much above the rest of the music that all ...

Affordable worth it price. I miss the tropical beach weather so we decided to do the 7 day cruise in mexico. A day in every port wasn't enough! There's so much things to do. During sea day we were able to do a lot of stuff although I must say there's isn't much for couples. Sea day would be so much if we're traveling with family or friends. Only elegant dinner, spa and pool lounge was enjoyable ...

Ship needs to be retired

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Splendor

User Avatar

This ship is old and needs to be updated. Cabin on the Riviera Deck was dirty and dusty. We found a pair of shoes in the closet from a previous cruiser. Empty plastic shopping bags in drawers. Beds were very uncomfortable and felt like air mattresses. There were lights in the room that were out and not replaced. The TV is tiny and everything looked green. The decor is old and gaudy. The food was ...

IF THIS WAS MY FIRST CRUISE IT WOULD OF BEEN MY LAST

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Splendor

I am glad this was not my first cruise because it would of been my last! The cleaning crew ( if that is what you want to call them) DID NOT CLEAN ... I got dirty towels hung like they where clean ( lip stick and other makeup on them - you could see lip prints) I have been on this ship before and did not have this bad of a time. The main steward was a joke... rude and unfriendly (they could not ...
