This was supposed to be a "special sailabration cruise" Nothing special about it! They take your money and make changes at the last minute blaming covid. You never knew you were on a sailabration cruise until the very last day. Lido deck was very boring. No entertainment except a DJ. playing music a few hours everyday. 5 very boring days at sea. Entertainment at the phantom theater was like watching high school students. Repetitive entertainment in the atrium. The food has gone downhill. Horrible! Everything on the buffet on lido deck was dry and cold. Very small portions were served in the main dining rooms. A side dish was a tablespoon portion! I suggest you order double because if you ask for seconds you wait forever to get it. If doing a Hawaiian cruise, be prepared to dock in shipyards and warehouses. Unless you had a excursion planned you were left to fend for yourself trying to find transportation into town. Tons of homeless people eating out of garbage cans. Ensenada was nothing but people harassing you to buy things. This cruise was very disappointing. I contacted Carnival when I got home. They do not care! All they tell you is, "they will pass the information along to the proper departments so changes can be made" With all the complaints I read in the reviews about the food, it hasn't improved. They simply do not care! I asked for a small compensation for a possible future cruise because they did not deliver as advertised for this sailabration cruise. Not happening! All they want is your money! Never again. We will definitely try a different cruise line next time!
