Carnival France Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

I expected more. Even Diamond/Sapphire guests noted cost cutting.

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Breeze

Consensus among some was that Carnival is implementing more cost cutting measures on board. Ship still in good shape and service from stateroom staff is still great, but availability of staff elsewhere can be lacking. Resupply of out of stock restaurant/bar items did not seem to occur during the cruise. The most obvious seeming cost cutting is the food; In the Lido, proteins, with FEW ...

We were excited to cruise to the ports on the extended cruise for 25th Anniversary. Little did we know it would be a 80s themed cruise both entertainment and passengers. If we did ...we never would have booked it. Be aware when we got back and I called Carnival told me that the older age group is common for the Journey Cruises. (Didn’t see that in the description)Other than that I can’t say enough ...

After having lived in the US for more than 8 years and doing Caribbean itineraries at first, we did our first European Cruise with Carnival on the Vista in 2016. We have a total of 42 days with Carnival now (VIFP Gold) and have sailed with Royal Caribbean on one cruise. This was almost the same itinerary as with the Vista two years ago (except we skipped Palma de Mallorca in the end). We have done ...

Western Med memories

Easier to fly and cruise from Barcelona than drive to Southampton. The service throughout the ship couldn't be faulted if a little forced at times. The Havana Club was worth paying a bit extra for and the extended balcony gave good space to relax in. Unfortunately its ambiance deteriorated after 7 p.m. when the Havana Bar and its pools were made available to all passengers. As a ...

Excellent Service, Poor Design

My husband and I have always sailed Carnival, and this was one of the few Carnival cruises to port in Europe. Let me start by saying overall I had fun not enough to justify the cost of this vacation and not enough to recommend it to other people. I had many friends on the ship who disagreed with my assessment. Here's what I think happened... Carnival doesn't usually sail in the Mediterranean ...

As a family of 4 who had never been on a cruise we decided to start with this new ship for 7 days around the Med. Getting on and off the ship was something I was concerned about but thought this was done well. The Cabin was fine with two showers and bunks for the kids. Beds comfortable. For a new ship the Air Con was average and we had to ask for it to fixed which helped somewhat. We ...

Great Cruise, Not the Best Ship Design....

We chose this particular cruise because we wanted to experience Carnival's new ship and at the same time visit some of the ports in Europe we had not seen before. As we have come to expect from Carnival, embarcation went smoothly, our cabin was ready when we boarded; however, it was our anniversary and I had purchased a package that included decorations, a bottle of wine, a card and chocolates. ...

Had fun, very disappointed about Kusadasi being canceled. This was the main reason we took this cruise. Once cancelled this kicked in the 24% VAT which was not good. I think crew was looking ahead to New York . Cruise director was very good just had New York on her mind. Best thing about the food was Guy's Burgers. Very very good. The male singers in the band of shipseas group were ...

Excellent Boat- Horrible Room!

We booked this cruise several months in advance, and splurged on both airfare and the room by upgrading. We upgraded our room to the Spa Balcony Suite and chose the one at the front of the boat 14206- we were told it was bigger, and the balcony would wrap around- not the case at all! I've never been so disappointed in a room before- the suite was smaller than the regular rooms, and the balcony ...

Chose this cruise cuz it fit a block of time between already booked flights and it was rt barcelona and had a good itinerary and was new and bigger than other carnival ships. Boarding process was a nightmare and the food esp breakfast in the dining was often inedible. im talking poorly made omelettes and rancid bacon on 2 occasions!! eve meals hit and miss--only got enough to eat if you ordered ...
