Chose this cruise cuz it fit a block of time between already booked flights and it was rt barcelona and had a good itinerary and was new and bigger than other carnival ships. Boarding process was a nightmare and the food esp breakfast in the dining was often inedible. im talking poorly made omelettes and rancid bacon on 2 occasions!! eve meals hit and miss--only got enough to eat if you ordered 2 or 3 of every course and were lucky if you liked one or 2. red meat and melons tended to be best options.the waiters tried their best but kitchen staff definitely lacking as was the quality of some of the ingredients. shore excursions ok but cant say i really enjoyed ay of them. Avoid dine as you wish as their check-in system was diabolical. Really glad i was able to get assigned to a mixed group table for 10 at the late seating. spa was nicer than most but the people were loud and inconsiderate so not very relaxing. Music options and room stewards were great as were guest services if you didn't mind standing in line for ever to see them. you must bring debit card to change money at atm as they dont handle cash at the desk. Might possible try vista again for carrib cruise but not for europe. just glad i met some nice people on my own as no planned singles lunches or breakfasts.
