Carnival Eastern Caribbean Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Very Disappointed After 8 Carnival Cruises

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Glory

My wife and I were dumbfounded while on our cruise to the Bahamas. Let me get the excursions out of the way. Freeport (otherwise known as the “Gas Station”), was disappointing. View from the ship once docked has a lot to be desired. The beach excursion was good. As others have posted, it is crowded but that didn’t bother us. Nassau was awesome! We took the Blue Lagoon excursion. You will ...

My husband and I chose this cruise because a family member planned a family trip. We were a little nervous about the cruise because we didn’t know what to expect. This was a first for us. Our accommodations were very expensive I think for a cabin with a balcony. We had plenty of food, but personally I think the ship lacked a variety of activities for all ages. We deemed this the college party and ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Venezia

Let me start by saying that this was my second cruise ever, so I only have one other ship to compare to: the Carnival Sunshine. All in all, I had a good time since I was on vacation, had a fairly decent time on the ship and enjoyed the three ports of call. Unlike other reviews, I didn't have any "Nightmares" or "Disasters". However, the ship has a long way to go. So first, the good parts. The ...

So disappointing

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Venezia

We chose this cruise because we were anxious to see a different kind of carnival ship. The ship is lovely, beautiful atrium area and several pretty seating spots. The entertainment is top notch, unfortunately that’s where the the kudos end. The pool areas are minuscule for starters. The main dining room and buffet are woefully sub par. We have travelled on Carnival many times and the ...

Carnival did nothing special, but some of the friends made during the trip was worth it.

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Magic

We, as newly weds, went on this cruise for our honeymoon. The captain did a good job dodging most of the storms in the area which I'm very thankful of. Cabin was standard ocean view with a pretty good attendant in Gede. Food service was attentive albeit very slow. I'm told by some of my fellow travelers that they were going and hour without even being acknowledged. I'm also not a fan of the ...

My least favorite cruise on Carnival - Venezia June 2023

We were supposed to be on Magic but they transferred us to Venezia. Was worried at first that they moved us from the 11th floor to the 1st, but having a window and seeing the ocean right outside our room was great. Had a family suite with 2 bathrooms (1 with a toilet, the other with a tub). Was very excited that this was going to be an Italian style cruise -- I love chicken parm and Magic had ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Mardi Gras

We chose this cruise for my son’s graduation from high school, and we wanted to get on a bigger ship this time. Although the Mardi Gras does have more restaurants than smaller ships, many of the restaurants are closed during the morning and afternoons, which means you are in a line with hundreds of people just for a Buffet The good shows are only at night and limited. The roller coaster was 15 ...

Food was ok but almost exact same thing EVERY day on Lido. The MDR’s served the same items just a tad more formal for the vast majority of the menu… Quality/temp etc. all sub par but you could eat at Guys burgers or tacos/burritos and both were great. Cabin steward and photographers also terrific. Cruise director made a few announcements and I saw him briefly once - other than that no ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Legend

The seas were rough going out of Baltimore. But the cruise was so much fun. Sure the itinerary was rushed the first few days, and I'd like a do over on those days (even missed dessert on the firstfew days), but the staff was friendly and the excusisions were so much fun. Half the cruise got sea sick so they canceled and postponed entertainment. Spent a lot of money at the casino it was fun and ...

Great food options but a horrible Terminal F departure

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Celebration

User Avatar

My wife and I went through Terminal F via a Carnival cruise Apr 30 to May 6. Our entry progress was fast because we went through about 45 min before ship departure. The baggage screener clerk discarded my empty plastic water bottle with the explanation "no incoming plastic at all allowed on the boat". On an island stop, I saw a sign that said "no empty water bottles allow onboard Unless They Are ...
