Four days of Paradise!

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Paradise

We chose our cruise for a quick get away to break from my ever stressful job. Plus my wife's birthday was on October 20th so we decided to do something relaxing and fun. We booked the Carnival Paradise knowing it wasn't going to be fancy and possibly full of interesting individuals! Needless to say we were so pleasantly surprised. This ship, although older and smaller than some was absolutely ...

This was my first cruise and it was such a memorable experience. I was pleasantly surprised at how roomy my stateroom was and how extremely attentive and friendly the staff was (and I mean the ENTIRE staff was extremely professional, fun, and courteous). Steven, Hugo, "Fluffy", and Eric were all so genuine and hilarious, they made my first cruise so much fun with so many laughs. Sergio & Fanny ...

The Carnival Paradise was definitely a "fun ship". If lots of partying is not your thing, this would probably not be the ship for you. We went on a 4 night cruise to Cozumel and had a really fun time. The ship is quite nice, but the rooms could still use some updating. The staff was extremely friendly and the bartenders worked very hard to keep up with the crowds at the bar. The one overwhelming ...

I am extremely well traveled and sometimes hard to please and I just wanted to say that this cruise was absolutely amazing. We had sailed one other time in the past with Royal Caribbean on one of their newly refurbished boats and yes, that ship compared to the Paradise was a bit nicer, but we read online that was to be expected. We are from Tampa, so we were happy for the easy in and out convince ...

Fantastic Ship/Fantastic Crew

Traveled The Carnival Paradise on the August 29 sailing (4-nights). The ship is 15 years old; yet it is in better condition throughout than many new ships in the Carnival Fleet. Everywhere you look someone is cleaning; repairing; polishing. The crew is stellar in all respects. The customer service aboard The Paradise rivals that found in any 5-star hotel on land. Always friendly; always saying ...

Great cruise for the money. Cozumel was great Let me begin by saying that we went with a large party (10 people) and we could have gone any other cruise line and more than likely would have experienced the same thing. We didn't see any shows, I didn't play putt putt golf, use the gym, or take advantage of any of the shopping excursions. We strictly hung out with friends, drank a whole bunch ...

Don't understand the disrespect for Paradise!

Two friends and myself did a BFF weekend cruise on Paradise. I don't understand some of the negative posts about the ship, not that everything is perfect. We drove to port from NoCal and stayed at Hotel Maya using the CCL code, great deal. One of my crew was platinum so we did VIP embarkation and I was the first on the ship! Pretty cool. I'll say that the staff in port and on the ship were ...

My wife and I finally had a getaway without the kids. We are in our mid 50s, and this was my 10th Carnival cruise (finally Platinum) and her 9th. We also traveled with my wife's service dog, Duncan (his 4th cruise). We had a FANTASTIC time on the cruise. We didn't meet 1 crew member who didn't do everything possible to make our cruise experience the best it could be. The food: We tried ...

Oct 10-14 Cruise to Paradise Day 1 Embarkation We arrived at 11am & dropped off our friends, who booked a suite at the VIP lounge, then waited for check-in at the dome. Finally, someone said they were still doing early check in at the Queen Mary, so we rushed over there. There was a short line for the disabled. & we quickly got through, then back to the Dome to be first in line for disabled ...

We had an excellent time, albiet we really want to step things up a notch for our next cruise. The four night cruise out of Long Beach was a nice introduction to cruising for us and left us all wanting more, much more! Carnival delivered a nice cruise for a budget price. Everyone treated us very nicely, we enjoyed our cabin, the entertainment, and the food. There were some minor problems, ...
