We had an excellent time, albiet we really want to step things up a notch for our next cruise. The four night cruise out of Long Beach was a nice introduction to cruising for us and left us all wanting more, much more!
Carnival delivered a nice cruise for a budget price. Everyone treated us very nicely, we enjoyed our cabin, the entertainment, and the food. There were some minor problems, but nothing worth complaining about.
The best part for us was Camp Carnival, the staff were excellent and our children never wanted to leave. Our four year old has multiple special needs and they did a wonderful job of accomadating him and making it possible for my husband and myself to have a much needed break.
If you are looking for a bargain get away and you are not overly picky then you will really enjoy the cruise. There is some truth to some of the negative reviews here, but I really feel that those few are nit-picking, you can find something wrong with everything or go with a positive attitude and have a lot of fun. We did not buy any extras other than the bubbles program, build a bear for our daughter, and about $100 worth of pictures. We did not feel pushed to spend extra money. We did not go to the excursions due to the medical needs of our son.
quiet location, sleeps four and a trundle, plenty of closet space for four
