Seems like Princess are skimping on staff. Distinct lack of drinks waiters. Having to wait up to 20 minutes for a waiter to come by. Cost of drinks very expensive. The interior fittings in looked dark and out of style but The cabin decks carpets looked worn. COVID UPTDATE: a friend traveling with us got Covid, Her symptoms appeared the 2nd day of the cruise, so she got in Ohio before got on cruise (3-5 day incubation period). Medical staff saw and put on meds to prevent needing hospitalization later, She has multiple risk factors to have a bad outcome if not on meds for Covid. We joined the Sojourn in LA and disembarked in Taipei at the end of the second segment of the World Cruise 72 days later. Our last trip on the Sojourn had been the last two segments of the 2023 World Cruise from the Seychelles to Barcelona, and we now have about 200 days with Seabourn. Chose this cruise as it was a food cruise, didn’t realise when we booked that all the chefs dinners were going to be at large extra cost.
