Positives: (1) we were on board within a half hour of arrival to the the pier. (2) my dh and i won 2 trivia contests which had actual prizes-bottles of champagne (3) the princess app on the phone was easy to navigate. (4) dravuni, fiji cruise port is outstanding and saved this cruise from being a zero.

Negatives: (1) no ac in our cabin for 3 days in the hot south pacific. Impossible to have a decent sleep. (2) front desk. When we went to complain, we were told simply that "you're on an old ship" and "it's not just you. It's 200 cabins altogether." literally, that is what they said. (3) no apology, no acknowledgement, no explanation from anyone on board, including captain or cruise director until final evening of cruise where we received a letter in our cabin with offer of $150 off towards another princess cruise. (4) dining: flavorless food. Broken water, ice and coffee machines. Staff did not encourage cruisers to wash hands before eating. Only soft ice cream. Very weak cocktails.

Conclusion: this was my 30th cruise and is saved from being the worst ever only because of dravuni, the nice dj laura in the nightclub, and the fact we made friends with a nice couple from australia.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cleanliness of cabin sub par. But, nice spacious balcony.

Port Reviews

Dravuni Island

Wonderful island with friendly people and so easy to find a private spot on the beach for yourself!
