We hoped Oceania would be our new home . . .

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Riviera

We sailed to Alaska on Oceania in 2013 and loved it. We haven't been able to book with Oceania again until this cruise and we were excited. We were especially anticipating the food because of our prior experience. Sadly, we were disappointed. First, the good: the rooms are roomy and beautiful. The bathroom was the best (by far) I've ever had on a ship or in many hotels. We had a great cabin ...

Best Cruise Ever on the Riviera

Having sailed on 50 cruises or more, this was the best cruise we have ever had. Everything about the ship, food, service, and cabins were first rate. Riviera is completely refurbished and looks spectacular in all areas. She is a beautiful ship inside and out. With about 1200 passengers, Riviera is large enough to give you plenty of dining options and public areas and yet small enough to ...

This was our 8th cruise with Oceania and our first after the pandemic. Some have mentioned that the ship decor is dated, which I agree with, however, I heard they are renovating the ship in a few months. The restaurants were great as usual - my favorite was Jacques. The spa was wonderful and the cooking class was a lot of fun. While there are still many things to love about Oceania - the ...

We booked this cruise almost 2 years ago. We liked the itinerary very much, particularly the 2 days in Bordeaux and several other ports in France. We also saw that this would be a special culinary cruise with Jacques Pépin attending, so that was of interest to us too. This was our fourth cruise with Oceania and our second in Europe with them. We have also done a number of cruises on other ...

Wanted to go to Amsterdam and liked the ports for this cruise. Had not been to Spain or Portugal before. We spent 4 nights in Amsterdam before the cruise. Embarkation was very fast - this is our 5th cruise with Oceania and we arrived when it is usually most busy but there were more than enough people to log us in, get room cards, etc. Disembarkation was also amazing. Instead of being dumped ...

Cruise: 13-day Italy France & Spain: The Rivieras We planned an extended family vacation. Decided to upgrade t3 mini suites and looked forward to a great and once in a lifetime cruise. The ship itself is the perfect size ship in my opinion, feels big, but small enough to nollt have a ton of overwhelming people. Background: - Frequent cruise family: Many cruises on NCL, Princess, ...

Am 70, fairly fit, travelled with fit wife, both do not eat meat. Prefer quality over quantity. Have cruised many times before, but first time on NCL. Balcony on 10th floor. NCL has a culture problem in that do NOT pay attention to details with both admin, food and service being second rate. Most staff were either poorly trained or poorly supervised/managed Examples When booked ...

Our bucket list cruise did turn out to be a "Cruise of a lifetime", but, not in the way we hoped. Arrived 3 days early in Amsterdam and had a wonderful time exploring that city. Embarkation was a breeze and we were delighted with the cabin (11134), initially. Evenings were interrupted by folks playing basketball dspite the sign stating activities were to end at 5 PM. So easy to fix, just put ...

You know how you really look forward to something, I mean, you get excited... You spend a bundle, prepare, hype it up... Well, don’t do that if you are taking a Norwegian Cruise. They don’t care about you, and if you have problems and try to contact them...they’ll ignore you. They’ve ignored me. They ruined the trip of a lifetime, and didn’t even care enough to answer my numerous contacts to guest ...

As this time, probably the whole world knows about the disaster European trip provided by the Norwegian Pearl . However, I wanted to point that I consider that all the blame should be taken by the Norwegian Pearl management and/or corporate team for the way that they manage all the situation and information about the defective engine on board during this time. The did not share any ...
