It's a lovely ship and service, cleanliness and food are just alright. You shouldn't complain.
You may not like the food, but it is well cooked and in copious quantities.
Unfortunately, we were hit several times by toxic paint fumes in our cabin, which were so powerful that we couldn't be there.
Our steward Adi was just quite real and service minded. Our butler could learn a lot from ...
This was our third Oceania cruise, and although we rated this “very good”, we did pass along to Oceania several criticisms, which we hope will be considered “constructive”.
The good – Sirena is nicely restored, well maintained and the staff is very good. There were some instances of poor service, but these are rare. The not good - bathrooms in cabins below penthouse level are too ...
We wanted to celebrate our 45th, and on googling Mediterranean cruises, Oceania came to the top with an excellent deal. The agent who responded to our query was friendly and knowledgeable, and she suggested the perfect stateroom. Upgrades were offered, but we couldn't let go of our "extended veranda," which was twice the size of normal and had room for two chairs, a table, AND two lounge ...
Wanted to explore Greece and Croatia. Nice short flight out to Venice.
Check in very good and embarkation went smoothly from 12 noon.
Ship in good condition areas clean needs a lick of paint on balcony handrails.
Upgraded to room with balcony instead of porthole which was a bonus. Forward facing above Theatre but not noisey.
Plenty of choices of places to eat. Ate 2 nights in Alizbar ...
Never having cruised before, I chose this cruise for the itinerary and the positive reviews of Celebrity that I had read. On the whole I enjoyed it but there were some negative points too. Below is a summary of our views:
GOOD:
-Staff on the whole worked very hard and were friendly and courteous. Our cabin attendant, Barbara was delightful and couldn't do enough for us. Alex (Concierge ...
My husband and I chose this cruise because of the advertised reputation of Oceania and because it embarked in Venice, which was a place we wanted to return to, and it had a stop in Antibes that would allow us to see the French Riviera for the first time. We are not expert cruisers, having only cruised twice before, once with Royal Caribbean and once with Celebrity. We were also drawn to Oceania ...
We had wanted to Cruise Europe for a few years and the opportunity arose for us to get a few weeks in a row to take 2 cruises with NCL. We were originally supposed to go a week earlier then the dates we ended up going as NCL had the Epic in dry dock and the ship was delayed so our itinerary was changed by NCL (we received a whopping $25 additional on board credit for this change done by them). ...
This cruise is actually quite good, it exceeds my expectation in most aspects. For example the food is well-cooked in Italian style, not American style junk food that appeals more to some taste. The lunch buffet is one of the largest. Some 10 food stations each offering some 10 choices. The entertainment is vibrant...there is a production show every night which is at least well-planned and of ...
We just came back from our E. Med cruise MSC Musica, Sept 12 - 19, embarkation from Venice. Before this we had cruised twice before with American cruise lines. I don't know why there were so many negative reviews because we had a great time and everything is well organized, especially getting on and off the ship: we never had to wait for more then 15 minutes in any ports. The itinerary is great; ...
This was my first cruise and I always wanted to see the Greek Isles.
We booked our own flights to get good times and connections. This allowed a day in Venice a day before the cruise. Getting around Venice proved easy as long as you remember Vaporetti (water bus)lines 1 or 2 travel the canal allowing for great views without paying exhorbitant water taxi charges. The stations are well marked ...
