Stateroom issue

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Norwegian Jade

Recently went on a cruise on the Norwegian Jade recommended by friends. Over all the experience was good except for my stateroom (obstructed view). I have over 30 years of cruising experience with other cruise lines. And have obstructed view cabins in the past. I was not prepared for the cabin assigned to me. Stateroom had 2 small windows, view being blocked by a lifeboat. I could not see ...

Beautiful ship

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

I’ve been driving to Port Canaveral for cruises for the past two years and was glad to find a Royal Caribbean ship from Tampa, where I live! Embarking was easy. Disembarking was difficult and took over an hour to get off the ship once in line. Because of Hurricane Tammy, we were unable to go to Nassau and CocoCay. We went to Cozumel instead. For families, this was a big disappointment. The ...

Wanted a Holiday sailing out of Tampa this fit the criteria. This being an older ship I was very surprised and happy at her lovely spaces. The crew were the stand out stars, except for guest relations go figure. We would sail her again tomorrow if we could. We were in a suite and the Suite concierge Christian Dellosa had elevated attention to detail. The lively Pinnacles shared our lounge and ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas

We chose the cruise after Covid canceled our original cruise. We utilized the “lift and shift.” The ship needs some TLC but the crew is wonderful. I understand the ship is scheduled for dry dock - that’s good. The balcony cabins need attention. Our cabin steward, Jeremy, was wonderful. The UDP - totally worth it. If you dine at Giovanni- get the Osso buco. The UDP included 5 dinners ...

Great Time on the NCL Pearl

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Norwegian Pearl

This was our 7th cruise (DIsney, Celebrity, Holland, Royal Caribbean), but our first time with NCL. We are a married couple in our late 50s. We enjoyed the more casual, laid - back, freestyle experience. The Pearl, although not as "elegant" as some other ships, still is in good shape, clean and modern. The Pearl staff was very friendly and attentive, especially our cabin attendant, Daniella. ...

Cruise from Tampa

We chose this cruise (day at sea-Norwegian private island- day at sea) because it’s close to our home and the prices were reasonable especially for spring break! The cruise was hosting Trailer Park Boys and their fan base which was honestly fine except that some areas were closed off for private events etc. the only real issue we had was that we had to move rooms (9505 to 8619) at 1am the second ...

Wonderful Cruise With Old Friends From Buffalo On Their First Cruise

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Pride

We chose this cruise because of the convenience of leaving from Tampa (30 minutes from home) and the variety of ports on just a 7 day cruise. To make it even better, we were joined by 2 friends who were EXCITED about their first cruise. Embarcation was less than 30 minutes and a breeze. It was pretty cool and windy up on the Lido deck but going under the Sunshine Skyway Bridge right at sunset ...

Great cruise--disappointing entertainment

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Pride

The shows were VERY disappointing. We are platinum cruisers with Carnival, but haven't cruised with them for about 5 years. The singers voices didn't blend. After attending two shows, we tried the comedy club. Better entertainment, but the room was too small. The comedy was the best night time activity so everyone arrived early and didn't leave--standing room only! The food was actually ...

Brief Pride from Tampa

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Pride

This was our 15th cruise, 2nd on Pride, mostly Carnival but also RCL, Celebrity and NCL. Pride is only from Tampa for a few weeks before return to Baltimore so we took advantage of a 7 day to Western Caribbean. Pride is the ideal size for new cruisers and especially now with the impressive 2.0 upgrade apparently costing near $75M. It's about as large a ship that can sail out of Tampa to pass ...

Favorite Cruise so far.

Picked this cruise mostly due to the sailing dates. Also wanted to see Belize, Honduras and Grand Cayman. Prefer the Eastern Caribbean but enjoyed the Islands and locals. Embarkation and debarkation were easy. While the entertainment was lackluster the crew was the best ever. Our room steward, Randy and dining crew Carlos, Jovan and Ivan were awesome. Would have liked a table nearer a window ...
