This was our 15th cruise, 2nd on Pride, mostly Carnival but also RCL, Celebrity and NCL. Pride is only from Tampa for a few weeks before return to Baltimore so we took advantage of a 7 day to Western Caribbean.

Pride is the ideal size for new cruisers and especially now with the impressive 2.0 upgrade apparently costing near $75M. It's about as large a ship that can sail out of Tampa to pass under Sunshine Skyway bridge.

We are snowbirds who reside 30 minutes from port. Used Parkway Parking - very impressed and included a shuttle service at half the total cost. Embarkation was smooth and up to Lido within 45 minutes of scheduled arrival time.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8D

Mid-way on Empress deck. Balcony is rather small with 2 chairs. Room was in good condition but old tube TV. Bed was comfortable as was temp control. Typical bathroom with super water pressure and constant temperature. Heard no noise from neighbors. Plenty of storage and room safe - also includes bar fridge. Steward Carlos did a terrific job each and every day. close to stairs & elevators.
