Overall we enjoyed this line but likely not enough to be repeat guests. Food was not 6 star quality, not enough variety. At the buffets, often it was overcooked. Wine was very good though.
Entertainment ok. Not great. Didn't like the fact that in all but two of the dining venues you needed a reservation. This allows for no spontaneous food decisions. Also would prefer that the restaurants ...
We wanted to see Alaska and it’s Glaciers and had understood that Silversea was an all inclusive luxury line
Certainly the suite was well appointed but the public areas and restaurants were quite tired
The food was not comparable to that on the Oceania and hardly ever featured local cuisine….For example Alaskan crab. The buffet breakfast never varied and
Many of the included excursions ...
Silversea Review
August 2023 Alaskan Cruise, leaving Vancouver, with “Premier” Alaska-Denali Summit post-cruise land package
Ship: Silver Whisper
Ports: Ketchikan, Icy Straight Point, Skagway, Icy Bay, Valdez, Seward
Note: This would have been a five-star review had it not been for the Denali land package
Booking: We booked the Door-to-Door cruise in a deluxe veranda suite through ...
First time sailing with SS (and Silver Moon) but have sailed on about a dozen other cruises including Seabourne and Oceania many times. Silversea, at least in our experience with this particular cruise was by far the best. 10/10. We were highly impressed.
Beautiful new ship, elegant but also contemporary in design, blended the two perfectly. Suite was on par with Seabourne but with much better ...
We recently booked a last-minute trip on the Silver Muse from Seward to Vancouver. For context, we've sailed Seabourn 5 times, most recently last month on the Venture, as well as trips on Celebrity and once on Disney. We REALLY wanted to like Silversea to have a good alternative to Seabourn, but this was not a good experience.

This cruise ship was not worth the money. They also could care less about cancelled flights and transportation which is included in your package. Horrible customer service. Food was average. Boat was small. Butler tired. Excursions ok at best. Only excursion I enjoyed was the one i booked myself. They sale you with all these add one but don’t deliver. Cruise was actually boring. Minimal activity. ...
This is a run down ship with tired and overworked employees. There’s no variety and limited spa and excursions. There’s little activity and the same experience everyday. We are a group of 5 and cannot wait to get off. Many others on the cruise feel the exact same way. We missed Icy Bay point/ Strait because we had a medical evacuation. We waited for over 2 hours for a boat and then another hour ...
I've always heard how amazing Silversea Cruises are, but I was completely underwhelmed for many reasons. First I believe the crew hates Iceland since they're mostly from Philippines and Nigeria. I think they are doing their best but nothing like I read about prior to my cruise. The food was mediocre at best, especially in the main dining room, Atlantide. Pool grill was the best but in spite of ...
We didn’t know really what to expect or if the cruise would be too short but it was great from start to finish. This was our second cruise with Silversea in less than a year and we decided on Alaska because we had such a good experience on Silver Spirit in the Med. This ship was even better. While the Spirit was great this updated sistership was slightly better. We stayed in cabin which was ...
This was my third Silversea cruise and my first ever time to Alaska. I chose to do the Denali extension ahead of the 7 night cruise, then two nights in Vancouver on my own, making this a 2 week trip in total.
First, the Denali extension. In my opinion this is completely skippable, and I was not impressed with much about the 4 night trip. The Captain Cook hotel is charming from a decor/history ...
