Upon reading reviews of the Muse before leaving, we embarked with open minds; so glad we did! From the minute we boarded until we ended in Montreal, we loved this 6 month old ship and the dining options. Just being a couple who are in a service business, getting away alone is important. We have to be social at home but having the option each night to eat at a table for 2 without seeming ...
Wanted to see Ireland and eastern Canada and this did both. The crossing was nice, 4 sea days in a row. A couple so-so ports like Sydney Canada (try and avoid) and western Canada is much more beautiful but still very nice. Loved the French island of St Pierre.
My comment to take or leave; the food is great in all the restaurants but they have raised the premium restaurants (La Dame and ...
We chose this specific voyage due to the itinerary - with stops in Iceland, Greenland & the northern tip of Newfoundland being the most of interest.
This was our third Silver Sea cruise, but at 17 days the longest we'd ever been on a ship.
The Whisper is an older ship, but well maintained. Don't be looking for a lot of glitz - it is understated class more than 'in your face' ...
We chose this cruise because it included Iceland & Greenland. These two locations were excellent and the excursions there were well done.
Beyond that the Silver Sea experience was more than expected! Cruise Director Vickie was always available for questions and ever smiling. A special call out to our Butler Mustafa, he went beyond our expectations with offerings to help and provided nonstop ...
It was a fantastic time
Starting from the departure city, although we didn´t stay in Southampton, we managed to have three lovely days in London. The embarkation went smoothly with a very kind help of everyone, from the time I stepped out of the taxi in the port until arriving my cabin.
The ship as usual beautiful and clean.
The cabin ready for us with champagne and fruits. It was a very ...
The opportunity to try Silversea was one not to miss, so we joined Silver Whisper in Southampton for what turned out to be a superb mini cruise.
Embarkation was speedy, though a little badly organised, check in being are reception desk with only 2 staff members on duty . A small serve of champagne was offered, and we were advised that lunch was being served, and that our suite was not yet ...
We chose this cruise due to the timing (mid June before the big summer crowds), the length (seven days), the ports of call, the offer associated with it (airfare), and the fact that we love sailing on Silversea. Their ships feel like home now, the staff is ultra professional yet friendly, and the guests are always a pleasure to meet. Although not specifically a themed cruise, the itinerary, the ...
We chose this cruise because of the date it was sailing, which may sound strange, but I had planned to attend an event immediately prior to this cruise.
Well, Silver Sea does not disappoint! We were pampered by our butler, Ricardo and his assistant Neale, who were just amazing.
Our cabin was just lovely, spacious and extremely well planned. The bed and bedding were simply fabulous and the ...
We've been on previous cruises with SilverSeas and have always had a wonderful time. The cruise line is beautiful and the staff is helpful and friendly. It always makes you feel welcome when the staff greats you by name by the second day We enjoy the delicious food and passenger/staff ratio. The suites are spacious and have excellent service. The cabins each have a great view whether you ...
My husband wanted a repositioning cruise and I didn't want to be at sea more than two days at a time. Given that we decided to cruise less than 90 days before departure this was the best option. We'd never sailed on SilverSea but friends have and loved it. Embarkation and disembarkation were the easiest we've experienced. The ship is lovely and the veranda suite, very comfortable and ...
