Great room attendant 7534, great diamond club staff, great waiter table 614
Other staff does not seem committed like in past cruises. Almost felt as though we were bothering them for service.
Food a huge disappointment in general. No flavor. Definitely have cut back on quality of meat.
Coke package a joke. No coke machines diet caffeine free coke impossible to get most days. Would not ...
To start with my wife and I are pretty easy to keep happy, yet they failed in every way possible. While we have enjoyed RC cruise lines in the past, this one was a FAIL in all aspects and not just by our opinion but also by MANY in asked for comments by others. The Ship was clean and on time getting to and leaving ports, and while a good thing, that should not be the best thing about the trip. ...
Was told last year ship was to be refurbished not true. This ship is old in decor, linens are thread bare, beds are extremely hard. The solarium pool decor is poor worn and out of date and dirty. The stateroom bathroom is tiny and smells of sewage. The 12 Bar Band was terrible, unenthusiastic and dressed in same attire wrinkled and unkept each night. Very little seating in centrum. Outside ...
For our 10th wedding anniversary we booked an eleven night Southern Caribbean cruise on the Serenade of the Seas. The ship was okay, the cabin and cabin attendant were great.
The dining room left a lot to be desired. The menu selections were repetitive, the serving sizes were small, almost minuscule. The food was tasteless and I often compared it to hospital food! Crab claws to wrestle on ...
Summary: Slow service, aging ship, minimal entertainment, and mediocre food.
The highlights -
The cabin was clean and decent. Junior suite, which means a balcony cabin with a slightly larger foot-print and a tub instead of a shower. The steward was attentive and friendly - almost to the point of exhaustion. We found ourselves breathing a sigh of relief if we made it to or from the room ...
Friends asked us to join them on this 11 day cruise. Ship is DIRTY! Needs complete overhaul. Shore excursions were over rated & costly. Main dining room reservations were a joke, waited at least 30 minutes for a table, so we missed the shows. Food not hot. Other dining rooms were fine but cost $32 extra a person. Door fell off on Refrigerator. lights would not go on, 2 days to get them ...
What a disappointment! We had taken this same 11-day southern Caribbean cruise on this same ship 2 years ago but agreed to do the cruise again since we wanted to join our cruise buddies. Two years ago, we rated this trip 4 out of 5 stars.
What a change in service and quality.
This is the first cruise that we took on Royal Caribbean/Celebrity that was poor. We are Emerald members and our ...
Enough of white stuff and looking for warmer climat. After 19 cruises we can say that:
We can get much better/longer stay for the same amont of money.
RCCL has become a too large profit center on every things/activities offered and surely not worthwhile the price.
Dining has become a very low profile with very repeatable menus of low profile, surely the 2 formal diners were noting else ...
Family needed a short cruise due to school and work vacations. It was cold most of the time, especially in Key West on Wednesday. So, lots of time was spent on ship.
Room size was great but little signs everywhere showed the age of the ship.
Food was adequate except for scrambled eggs. They were downright awful. I ask the chef in windjammer to make scramble eggs for me. They were worse than ...
I have waited a month to do this review because of the negative energy I knew it would take. Before I finish my gripe I want to give a kudos to the few people that deserve it. Orion our stateroom attendant was amazing,he took great care of us all day everyday! Orion was always smiling and always happy the way you would want someone to treat you while on vacation. Lee and Randy in the Pub were ...
