Due to high water levels we started our cruise on the Scenic Ruby from Budapest. We joined the Scenic Crystal in Rudesheim. We we were therefore able to compare the two ships. We chose scenic because it was all inclusive. We found that the little things that make a 5 star was lacking. First, the wifi was horrible. The TV stations options were poor. There are times on the trip that you actually do use the tv and WiFi, so zip it. Dinner food was ok, we have had better meals on oceana and at specialty dining on the bigl ships. We chose Scenic as they are one of the few that are genuinely all inclusive. Alcohol flows all day, as does food and all gratuities are covered by Scenic. You really don’t spend a cent from the time you step on board, unless you choose to shop in the towns. This aspect was definitely as advertised.
