Our Cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest was wonderful, the ship was beautiful, the cruise director Richard was just amazing as was his off-sider Andree. The staff on the ship were brilliant, from the cabin butlers to the food waiters. We had to change ships halfway through the cruise due to water levels and went to the Ruby. Staff on both ships were very good but I must say the food on the Ruby was by far better than the Jewel. Jewel food tended to not be hot when served and rather bland, whereas on the Ruby it was much improved. The mixers on both ships also needed attention as very flat. The bikes on the boat also needed more maintenance luckily we didn't have any trouble with our bikes but others did, broken pedals, electrics not working properly. The bikes were a big plus to us and rather disappointing when numbers had to be cut as not all bikes working properly. Would highly recommend the trip and would definately do another Scenic trip.
