Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Serenade of the Seas

This cruise was put together with another cruise in the Mediterranean, we really enjoyed the combination of the two. It was great having 3 nights in Copenhagen before the cruise and then visiting Stockholme, Tallin, St Petersburg and Helsinki. I would like to overnight in St Petersburg and have 2 full days there as there is so much to see and do. I thoroughly enjoyed what we did do but felt a ...

We choose this route because we wanted to visit the baltic and this was a perfect experience. The entertainment is fantastic the musicians are really good (all of them), dining experience is fantastic the only problem is when you want to have dinner because there hours which can be very busy. We took the St Petersbourgh shore excursion due to problems with visa, but they are very expensive ...

We were going to visit my other son in Norway, so we wanted to know the countries in the north of Europe. The cruise was the best option in price and quality and with all included versus bus tours. The food was delicious and with a lot of European selection. Great shows New York style. Although it was cold weather, we enjoyed it because we live where summer is very hot. And love that history ...

I went on this cruise with my husband and first timers my brother and his wife. We enjoyed this cruise from all the Entertainment and the cabins 8136 and 8140. The only problem we had was on the day we were on an organised trip to St Petersburg and were due to meet at 6.45. I ordered breakfast for 6-630 which was a bad idea as they were rushed of their feet so had to ask at 6.30 were it was as ...

Nice Staff, Ship in Disrepair, Forget the Shore Excursions in Russia

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Serenade of the Seas

I choose this cruise line because I have cruised with them before, however, I was greatly disappointed. The ship needs a face lift, it is old and looks tired and worn. The staff were the best part of the cruise, very friendly and helpful. Food was great. We did all of our own trips into town except for Russia where we had to purchase a Shore Excursion to get off the boat. We purchased a 4 ...

Had a great time but the ship itself needs an update

Few points to start. We had a great time. This was our second cruise, the first being on Celebrity Equinox 3 years ago immediately after it returned from Dry-dock. And I specifically chose Royal Caribbean because I understood that the entertainment and enrichment were their strong point. I understood from reviews that the ship was not at a level of what the Equinox was when we went on it, but ...

Royal Caribbean nickel and dimes you to death.

We chose this cruise because of the timing and the ports of call. I feel like Royal Caribbean was trying to nickel and dime us to death. You had to pay for a bottle of water! On other cruise lines that I've been on recently (Viking and Oceania) they went out of their way to offer you complimentary water bottles as you exited the ship on excursions. Other cost cutting items, no shampoo or ...

VARIED EXPERIENCE

I chose this cruise because the price seemed reasonable, the time was good and friends wanted us to join them. The food was ok, some of it very good, some of it poor but most ok. I found the pastries were usually not very good. I got fed up with hunting down a table in the Windjammer room by half way through the ship (including one incident where my table was cleared and reoccupied even though I ...

I choose this cruise because of the cities we would visit and because the cruise began and ended in Copenhagen. From my view everything was perfect. The crew onboard was very accommodating and service minded. Our cabin was perfect in size with ocean view. The restaurants we visited, Windjammer and Reflections had various menues to choose between and the quality of the food was in top. There ...
