We decided to go on this ship with another couple who had recently retired. We have been on Oasis class ships five times. We chose this ship for the entertainment and were not disappointed. We. all loved Mama Mia. The ice show was very good.
We had scheduled all the shows along with our dining six weeks before the cruise and everything worked out perfectly. We ate in the Main dining room every ...
Short and sweet and good value for the money. My Aunt is a Dimond member with this Royal Caribbean. We loved the staff and how much they attended to our every need. What a cruise line to start out with. My husband and I enjoyed this. The next time I will go when its warmer the seas were rough but that is mother nature. Michelle is a excellent cruise director . We enjoyed the shows the food was ...
This cruise was booked for one main purpose-to make sure my other half can endure higher waves. He has only been on only two cruises so far, and on those, the waters were very smooth. I, being a meteorologist, figured that booking a cruise in the Atlantic during January should give us a chance to see if he can handle the high seas. That we did get.
First of all, Delta lost a bag when we flew ...
Group of family/friends goes on cruise annually. This year we were faced with norovirus, high seas, a mechanical break down and an unanticipated extension of the trip.
Was impressed with crew as they dealt with the norovirus that someone brought on board. None of the 12 in our groups was affected, and am sure it was because of crew's attention to "washy washy" details.
Was disappointed we ...
We (Vicki and Steve) are Diamond C & A members, Vicki is 58 and I am 60. This was our 25 cruise with Royal Caribbean. We booked this 3 night cause to extend our Florida stay over New Years. It was a bit different because we had just sailed on the Enchantment on it’s 10/30/17 sailing. Between these two sailings, the ship had undergone a two dry dock.
This being said it is difficult not to ...
Embarkation:
Easy port to get to. Long wait to drop off luggage. Easy check in but had rude check in person. Not Rccl people but Baltimore terminal should do a better job at training.
First inpressions: Old ship but friendly crew. Cruise director Bob and officers always around and very friendly.
Ports:
Charleston: Got off ship but city was closed due to snow/ice storm. ...
I chose this cruise because it left from Baltimore and the dates were a perfect time to be away from MD.
Everytime I got on or off the ship, it went very smooth and the crew was super nice.
I was in a balcony room on the 7th deck and my attendant, Mennie, was amazing......she was on the spot at all times.
I mostly hung out at the bars. If you drink more then 3 or 4 drinks a day, then ...
We Usually sail on NCL out of Manhattan but they didn't have an itinerary for us. My wife decided on RCCL. I am pretty confident that we wont be going back to NCL... NCL isnt bad but RCCL is just that much better. The ship is nicer, There are multiple indoor pool areas and adult areas. on NCL you would have to opt for the "Vibe" or "The Haven" for this experience, both of which cost more. ...
We cruised on ANTHEM over New Year's to Pt. Canaveral and Bahamas (didn't get to Coco Cay because of rough seas and dock not finished there yet.) This was our third ANTHEM CRUISE (as well as one time on the Quantum/ same class of ship). If every cruise to every port we want to go to could be the that class of ship I would be thrilled...) The weather on our New Year's cruise was horrid - snowy, ...
The Enchantment of the Seas is a beautiful ship. Everything was very clean and organized. our room was larger than expected. The amenities were fantastic. So many activities going on. They had a little for everyone. We cruised with a teenage son and a daughter in her 20's, everyone had the best of times. The staff aboard are top notch and answered all questions respectfully no matter how trivial ...
