I was disappointed in the overall way that things have changed, not for the better, since my last cruise on Brilliance. Several things stood out and these are why I gave several lower grades. The food was not what I expected, especially in the Minstrel Dining Room. Portions of vegetables were very small in most cases (one piece of broccoli?). Cuts of meat were thin and tough. In general at the ...

My wife and I chose this trip for my first ever cruise - a four-night cruise to Grand Bahama and back - with family and friends. It's one of the smaller ships, so I had lower expectations (after reading so much about the giant ships). We chose a cruise to Cozumel/Key West and shortly after booking the itinerary was changed. We ended up going to Key west/Nassau/Coco Cay. This was our 5th cruise on the Brilliance of the Seas and we were very disappointed. The MDR experience was terrible. The quality of the food was not good and serving roasted turkey any night is just plain cheap food and on our 5 night cruise it was offered twice. The menu choices have decreased and the items are mostly just plain cheap food. What everyone has always looked forward to was LOBSTER ...

We decided to cruise on RCCL because we were traveling with young family members and we thought they would enjoy the Brilliance of the Seas. We had a good time because we were together, but we won't cruise with RCCL again. The ship was very noisy with no quiet spots anywhere. The food was mediocre at best and usually worse than that. The only indication of the Christmas season was the decorations, ...
