Not a great experience

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Meraviglia

We chose this cruise for the itinerary but were sadly disappointed with the overall service experience. Service was non-existent from the staff. The do not greet you or welcome you at all. The F&B experience was terrible. We purchased the Tryptic dining package, but you don't get the full menu from the restaurants. They give you the choice of a few items only. We also had the drink package, ...

A little about us: my husband & I are 45-50 yrs old. We have cruised a total of 34 cruises on RCCL, Celebrity, Princess, Norwegian (2) & Carnival (2). This was our 4th European cruise but our 1st MSC cruise. The ship is very pretty. The dome area in the center of the ship is a real feature. I hope MSC utilizes it in many other ways. The Stairs are beautiful. The dining rooms could have more ...

Just finished a one week cruise on the Meraviglia from Rome, travelling to Palermo, Malta, Barcelona, Marseille and Genoa. We went on the Divina from Miami last year thus having experienced Msc before. First impressions were great as the Meraviglia is obviously much newer and the decor and the rooms were much nicer looking. We booked the Fantastica class with a Balcony room on deck 12. Great ...

Chose cruise for ports of call over Christmas holidays so my family could come with us. Do not take this ship if you get seasick. It is too tall for waves and 1/2 the audience in the theatre was motion sick when the ship began to rock and roll when leaving Valletta for Barcelona. Horrid experience watching guests vomit in the theatre and walkways. Why put a cirque show on a high wave night...I ...

Beautiful and new Ship. Bad food in quality, quantity and specially no variety. Poor variety always the same food 7 days a week. Hous open for food is limited. 7H30 to 10h30, 12h00 to 15h and 18h30 to 22h , after hours snack until 23h00 is only poor quality of pizza. Even fountain juice drinks are only served during breakfast. Quality of food is like school cafeteria . Buffet are very ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

It saddens me to write this review as I was hoping that people on a cruise would be nicer and civilised. It could well be a European cruise issue. Just to be clear, the staff are fine, but some of the guests are quite rude and maybe even racist. I'll start off with the positive points about the cruise. Harmony of the Seas is a modern cruise ship about 5 months old, so it makes a good ...

Wanted a fun ship for the kids. My husband and I have cruised 10 times on various lines: Princess (most), other RC, Oceania, Disney, and Carnival. We have always experienced exceptional service on cruises... until this one. With 6500 passengers, they were about 800 crew short of meeting expectations (passenger to crew ratio was 3.8). Slides and rock climbing wall and others closed during parts ...
