Just finished a 10 cruise with friends and family, chose the Escape as a couple of members of the party had travelled Norwegian before.
We had a Club Balcony Suite, sharing between 3 adults and a 16yo. It was spacious, with all beds being a good size (son is 6ft 3 and slept on the pull down bed with ease), great shower and bathroom. Room was scrupulously clean and we even had a couple of ...
Seemed like the whole time they were pushing to sell products(mostly jewelry). Took time out of the excursions/activities to sell us products even being pushy putting us in a closed rooms that felt like abduction. Gave no really time at all for the historical sites paid for. Regular dinning was bland and had multiple problems with main dinning. Ship activities having hidden prices till you show ...
My husband and I do a lot of cruising, and this was a most enjoyable cruise! The staff were exceptional, the ship was incredible. This is the smallest ship we have been on, only 100 passengers and we loved it. It was like one big happy family. The pool area is incredible, the water toys were available at at least 3 ports on a 7 day journey. There was so much thought that went in to the ...
We chose this cruise for family activities and splash academy when the kids arent with us.
Bad communication and organization:
We missed the one email of hundreds of spam emails NCL sended out that described needing a covid test. As a result, about 1,000 people waited over 3 hours at the port to see the one technician administering tests. We showed up at about 3pm, and ended up boarding ...
Although just 2 adult travellers, work commitments meant we had to travel in the school holidays, there are a lot of families aboard as expected but we have generally found adult only areas and it has not been an issue.
Our cabin (14826) club balcony suite midship but a distance from either front or back stairs (no midship stairs on here), but is spacious, spotlessly clean, enormous bathroom ...
This was our first time on any NCL ship and we were travelling as a group of four (2 adults and 2 children aged 11 and 8). Our previous cruises have been with Celebrity, Seaborn and Royal Caribbean.
We chose this particular cruise late in the day after not having travelled anything much over the last couple of years due the pandemic. The port of embarkation, we knew, and the destinations ...
So I have cruised throughout my childhood and I have been on various cruises in the last 8 years but this was my first time with RC. Having watched the slick adverts for the biggest/newest boat my kids wanted to go on and do the waterslides/ice skating/ laser tag etc.
We booked 5 months before sailing and there was only a handful of cabins left so we had a very limited choice and had a ...
Norwegian Esacape was a really Lovely ship and we thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. However the Pool on the top deck was way too small for the amount of passengers onboard - so this definitely was a big down point for this voyage! The Speciality restaurants were really nice but to be honest the regular dining restaurants were probably up to the same standard.
Loved the whole experience of ...
We were a family of 11 people .... multigeneration ( grandparents , 4 adult couples and granddaughter ) and this ship accommodated everyone perfectly ! No worries at all, from food to entertainment it was a 6 star experience ! We also had multiple dietary needs , vegan, vegetarian and kosher , and ALL were catered to individually and deliciously ! Kudos to Brendan and Charlotte ( our matre de) ...
My wife and I finally got back to cruising in July and I thought I might give my impressions of Edge (our first time on an Edge class ship) and changes in cruising we noticed.
First Edge was a great ship and our infinity veranda was an excellent choice. The infinite veranda allows you to be on your veranda and still in your cabin at the same time. On this cruise the weather in Europe was hot, ...
