Everything was perfect, so when this cruise came up from Miami to Miami on Mariner into the Amazon, we booked the trip and looked so much forward to go. Beautiful ship with lovely staff and excellent food but the entertainment fell short of what we’ve experienced with Regent on past cruises.

We chose this cruise because of an ACBL sponsored on-board duplicate bridge tournament and because it stopped at ports I had not been to previously.

We had previously been on Regent Cruises, the last on the Splendour and splendid it was. Sadly our enthusiasm for Regent was curbed somewhat when full of expectation, we boarded the Explorer touted by Region as the worlds most expensive cruise ship.
