My wife and I just finished a 25 day cruise to the Amazon River in Brazil on the Regent Seven Seas Mariner. We are in our mid 60s and have cruised over 30 times mostly on Royal Caribbean and Norwegian. This was our first “luxury cruise”. The itinerary was round trip Miami with many stops in the Caribbean and 3 days up the Amazon River to Manaus, Brazil. Everything was included in the fare – ...
We chose this cruise mainly for the itinerary, which unfortunately changed several times. some of which i could understand and others not so much.
The Navigator is a small ship and is quite an old lady, but saying that we had a great time onboard with a great crew and really nice fellow passengers.
The food choice was the largest I have ever seen aboard any ship and was mostly very good with ...
We chose this cruise line upon advice of a travel agent and used it first in March of 2015 ( Navigator ). The cabin was spacious, particularly the bathroom area.
The dinning was excellent in all of the dinning rooms. The staff was always attentive but never rushing. I particularly liked the wine selection. The listed wines were very good but the wine steward was always quick to offer other options ...
This was our third cruise on Navigator and we knew what to expect. Enough has been written about the condition of the ship, but she is going to drydock in March for rehab. I felt the ship was in pretty good shape considering.
We booked this ship and itinerary because there really isn't much choice in the small ship market in the Caribbean. We really need the smallest ship possible for our ...
Despite the negative reviews posted for this cruise, we would like to post a positive opinion. We were on board Regent Seven Seas Mariner for 72 nights (from Miami to Miami), and although there were some disappointments and inconveniences involved, we can't really blame Regent for any of them.
Yes, there was a gastro-intestinal virus that came aboard in Lima and persisted until the end of the ...
