This cruise was relatively inexpensive and convenient, since I live in Fort Lauderdale. The food and service has gone way down. The staff looked very unhappy. The best was my steward.I am very neat anyway. The food was cold and repetitive.I filled out the comment card and got no response. In the past they correct immediately. In general ,cruising will never be the same again.Had the spa pass for the ...
Booking this cruise was very last-minute, coinciding with yet another birthday and somewhat opportunistic, as we had been planning to spend a few days at Disney World and other attractions in Orlando but then thought, what is there in Epcot that we haven't really seen in person? And do we need to see more captive sea creatures living out their lives in constraint and misery? Nah. So what is the ...
Our cruise started off on a great with a speedy embarkation. However, we got to the room & a balcony chair was broken & our tv (multiple times). Then due to a medical emergency, we were delayed leaving princess cay, which then made us late for St. John (the whole reason we booked this cruise was for hiking St. John national park). Princess rebooked but then we were delayed by port authority and ...
The cruise was free from a L .V. Casino. We did pay $99 to upgrade to a deluxe balcony from the free inside room. Cabin steward Herman was wonderful, efficient and readily met all of our requests. Dining waiter, Oliver, remembered us and our preferences from a previous cruise. A superb job.
Now to the big negatives. Disappointed by the lack of preparation for virus, especially since Princess ...
Had to cancel prior booking in November 2019 and not much selection on short notice. Always sailed Princess in the past.
This was the second largest in their fleet with 3500+ passengers. Too many guests for my taste. Service was poor and most staff unfriendly. Head Waiter forgot it was our 50th Anniversary and we didn't get our celebration package. Very disappointing since this was the reason ...
I thought it would be nice to try Princess again after all I love Carribean Princess. I wasn't impressed at all its dis organized from the start. We bought the medallion prior to we walked in hanging over our neck but we were shuffled back n forth 3 times to get us check in with my mom on a wheelchair. We cruise every 4 mths we are not new nor do we like to critic. As far as show we have 2 good ...
To be honest we cruised princess once before and we’re not impressed. We only came a second time as it fit our plans and it really was just a rejuvenation week. First the good. Cabin was perfect (super comfy bed). The entertainment in the atrium in the last night was a special treat and made that last night memorable (unlike many cruises where they are not so). Food was decent, bar staff not the ...
This was my first cruise with Princess Cruises. My brother selected this line, ship, and itinerary. Myself and our group of 3 others are in our thirties. What surprised me is that this cruise wins the award for absolute worst fellow cruiser atmosphere of all my 10+ cruises. We came across many people we shared the ship with who were very entitled and treated the staff and other cruisers very ...
Chose this cruise as it worked with our travel plans for larger vacation and took advantage of end of year offer as had cruised on Princess before.
We drove to cruise terminal and parked as had driven to Florida from NY with stops along the way in Washington, DC and Charleston and norther Florida and Southern Florida. Easy to park in garage but there is construction work in terminal area so you ...
We like to take a cruise right after New Years. The fares are excellent and there are some nice perks added, especially with the Medallion program. We are Platinum members having sailed Princess 7 times now. Embarkation was super fast. We were onboard by 11am. This is nice as you really do get an extra day onboard. Like most Princess ships this boat has the same restaurants, bar areas, ...
